Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #156: The Ultimate Showdown

A 3 hour nap, 1 hour to pack/clean up, 3.5 hour drive separates me from my flight home!!

Gotta book a flight to NYC for OCT 10th too if the MLB clowns will figure out game times for the alds.

It's actually a company holiday for all of our offices here in Massachusetts, except here and our sales office in Hopkinton. We had to swap with Patriots day in April, which no one gets off, but that's because of the marathon. Can't get to either office during that day. Hopkinton is the start and our office is a black away from the finish line and it's the meet up point for a bazillion runners and their families.

Sitting in a PowerPoint class with some very stupid people.

Got my free pizza credit from OC for my birthday. Only one small problem. There are no Old Chicago's in PA, or OH, and WV for that matter. :(

Ladies and gentlemen, I give you... a man who is completely nuts: http://news.yahoo.com/skydiver-aims-break-sound-barrier-free-fall-184340527.html

Nah... the story was written to highlight all the things that have a tiny chance of going wrong. It sensationalized quite a bit. As long as he doesn't do anything stupid to damage his suit, he'll be fine. Plus after you've done some of the stuff this guy has, you gotta keep going. :)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #156: The Ultimate Showdown

This instructor is almost as stupid as the other people in the class.

Good morning . . . LODGE.

Whew, got it right this morning. Thanks for the advice, goldy. All it took was an icy mix of bourbon, sweet vermouth, and bitters. Think I might name it after you, assuming someone hasn't already named it something lame, like a "Manhattan" or something.;)

Arrived in St Paul last night around 10:30. I've spent most of today getting used to the time change, and later today, I'm going to check out the city. Should be a fantastic weekend!
