Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #155: Back to School

I have never had a problem with Comcast. In fact, just got off the phone with them to see what I had to do to get an additional HD box for my other tv. They didn't even try to upsell me on getting a technician out here. They actually recommended just mailing it out to me and have me do a self-installation, assuming I had any inkling of what I was doing (I do). That surprised me, since they probably could have made some easy money if I went with the tech option. I say could have, if they could guarantee a Sat morning appt. ;)

s'upp y'all

So one of my wife's sisters is not happy with how my wife and her other sister a planning a shower for their neice (first sister's daughter). Apparently she's mad at my wife because as the neice's Godmother it's "her job" to plan the shower, not the other sister - who wants to plan it. I don't get women......they are a weird & petty bunch. :)

this can't be your first rodeo there cowboy! :D

I'm almost sure that I'm switching to Comcast, because Dish gets their jollies off by ****ing over their customers. I'm just looking for an offer with Comcast to see if I can get some extras.

Heck, make a suggestion to them: say if you got the sports package for free for the next 6 months, that would seal the deal. That just about covers all of college hockey/football season. ;) Being a college sports fan, you'd watch the sh* out of those channels on the package.

Abstinence, there is plenty of time for that after you get married. Oh wait, you meant something else by not getting women? :p :D

You guys are confusing me with MNS. :D

We've had great luck with Comcast. Seems like Dish has become a pain for those who have it....

I have had Dish for over 10 years. Thought about switching a couple times but never have. I figure each of them have issues sooner or later. Besides, I call them up every once in a while and ask for them to give me a couple reasons NOT to switch and they always throw me a bone.............

I would do nasty things to the redhead in the Wendy's commercial.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #155: Back to School

A man walking along a California beach was deep in prayer. All of a sudden, he said out loud, "Lord, grant me one wish."

The sunny California sky clouded above his head and in a booming voice, and the Lord said, "Because you have tried to be faithful to me in all ways, I will grant you one wish."

The man said, "Build a bridge to Hawaii so I can drive over anytime I want."

The Lord said, "Your request is very materialistic. Think of the enormous challenges for that kind of undertaking. The supports required to reach the bottom of the Pacific! The concrete and steel it would take over thousands of miles! I can do it, but it is hard for me to justify your desire for worldly things. Take a little more time and think of another wish, a wish you think would honour and glorify me."

The man thought about it for a long time. Finally he said, "Lord, I wish that I could understand women. I want to know how they feel inside, what they are thinking when they give the silent treatment, why they cry, what they mean when they say " nothing!", and how I can make a woman truly happy."

The Lord replied, "You want two lanes or four lanes on that bridge!

No. Not the jumbo-petite. Not the one who thinks ranch dressing and gravy are 2 of the 4 food groups. I'm talking about the "now that's better" girl.

Speaking females, is your acquaintance from the bar 2 weeks ago invited to the bonfire Saturday night?

And if not, she better be. We will be unable to play "Haaaaaaave you met MNS?" since my friend won't be there.

We will have to send a recruiting party to Maxx at about midnight to bring back MNS some Anoka County ***.
