Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #153: Condiments, anyone?

What are you thinking of getting? I know I'm thinking of getting another tattoo by the end of the year. Decided on a flying pig, but can't decide what design I want yet.

Could always be worse.

Evening Lodge.

I have a couple ideas floating around that I just need to fine-tune. One idea will give a nod to my Norwegian heritage (preferably something like a Loki depiction or Thor's hammer) and the other is a tribute tatt involving my uncle (cop, and whose name is my confirmation name), cousin (10-year Navy vet, joined 3 months before 9-11) and grandpa (who was a golden gloves boxer).

I know it's gonna be pricey, despite the very inexpensive hourly rate the artist has. He only charges $80/hour, whereas the first artist I went to for my other tatts was charging about $150/hour (although the studio was nationally known, as one could see from all the trophies they have). I figure my next tatt will run about the same as the Gaelic Cross one I got last year ($320, including tip).

I see the Commie has hacked a few accounts. *yawn* Meh.

Making spanish rice. We'll see how well this turns out. Hopefully better than the homemade salsa that had waaaaaaaaaayyyy too many onions in it.

Too many onions? That's an accomplishment. That's tough to do with onions.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #153: Condiments, anyone?

I don't like onions in general, but yeah. That tells you just how bad the ratio was. I didn't have enough tomatoes to bring it back in balance.

I love onions, and what you accomplished amazes me. That's some serious onion.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #153: Condiments, anyone?

I don't think I've ever heard a person come back and say that a class reunion has ever been really, truly fun, unless they got totally hammered. And even then, if you're the spouse of the person whose reunion it is, it's just a party full of people you don't know.
I've had fun at my reunions and just as much fun at my wife's. Then again, I'm a cheap date. :)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #153: Condiments, anyone?

not as bad as the past... it was merely arm to arm SRO... I've seen it worse... Lowell (Vallorani) had a good showing today

edit: ralph, if that's you on HF... players do play over the summer... there's a spate of summer leagues in Mass, IIRC.... but i think the "who you play" is still restricted.

I was too vague. I meant pro-sponsored team.

Good Morning Lodge! The airwaves are sounding OK at this time. Was able to get a lot of Europe earlier, and a few South American stations. I could hear Hawaii, but they couldn't hear me.
