Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #153: Condiments, anyone?
I have a couple ideas floating around that I just need to fine-tune. One idea will give a nod to my Norwegian heritage (preferably something like a Loki depiction or Thor's hammer) and the other is a tribute tatt involving my uncle (cop, and whose name is my confirmation name), cousin (10-year Navy vet, joined 3 months before 9-11) and grandpa (who was a golden gloves boxer).
I know it's gonna be pricey, despite the very inexpensive hourly rate the artist has. He only charges $80/hour, whereas the first artist I went to for my other tatts was charging about $150/hour (although the studio was nationally known, as one could see from all the trophies they have). I figure my next tatt will run about the same as the Gaelic Cross one I got last year ($320, including tip).
What are you thinking of getting? I know I'm thinking of getting another tattoo by the end of the year. Decided on a flying pig, but can't decide what design I want yet.
Could always be worse.
Evening Lodge.
