If I was a mayor, I'd do whatever I could to keep them out. Not because of the ownership's political belief, but because I find their food lacking and overpriced for fast-food.

Being that I rarely visit fast food establishments I have never been to one and I don't plan on visiting one anytime soon.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #153: Condiments, anyone?

A friend of the g family is running for a House seat in MN. Little g and little gII have been invited to participate in a parade this weekend to show support. Not sure what to think. Mrs. g supports this individual but I am undecided. Oh well, I am sure the boys will have fun.

Drinking a Bell's Oberon. Good beer.

Edit. For you Lodgers who have posted about this lime margaritathingamajig. Stopped at the liquor store Saturday night. Just before I saw a billboard advertising the beverage. Looked and looked but I couldn't find. Asked the person behind the counter to which he replied "delivery comes in Tuesady morning and they are all gone within a couple hours."

It must be a southern taste thing, because both southern girls I have dated have raved about it. To be fair, they were both complete nutjobs.
Yes, but is the nutjob thing more because they like Chick-Fil-A, or more because you seem to have a thing for nutjobs? :D

I had it once, when I was in SC for work a few years back. It was decent, nothing outstanding.

gmann: wish your friend luck! I have a long time buddy running for mayor of Crystal. Let's just say I know MEg/Biddco wouldn't vote for him.

Long friggin' week. One more day at the circus (yes, it's been like that; not hellish, just chaotic).

So he and Wellstone would have been good friends, you say.

Asiago is becoming to cheese what chipotle has become to hot sauces. It's showing up everywhere now.

Bwahahahahahaha. :) He never takes a left, although he eyes it from time to time to see what the fuss is about. ;)

And agreed on the food fad.

Having once had McDonald's "Southern-Style" Chicken Sandwich, and marveled at its bland mediocrity, I can't imagine Chick Fil A's tastes much better than that. Fast food is engineered to taste largely the same, after all.

For pure fast food, Wendy's spicy chicken is rather tasty.
