And seeing some pics of the fires in CO. Some friends could be evac-ed soon. :(

Things getting worse for CO Springs. I'm really getting *ing worried now. A couple friends are seeing fires relatively point blank on their drives home.

That is not good. The pic, not the other news. Glad to hear that our two are okay.

When I see that, it's time to hit the eject button and go elsewhere for the duration.

For them to be in jeopardy, the wildfire situation would have to go from "bad" to "catastrophic" (it would have to reach Denver proper). I read somewhere last night that *half* of the aerial fire suppression equipment in the entire US is now deployed in CO.

Another buddy's uncle can see the fire coming down the hills, from his driveway. He's in the AF in some capacity. He's about ready to bail. Knowing him, it'll have to hit his yard before he does that, though.

Hell, I'm kinda surprised that I'm not an option with my GF here. I just don't see it happening anytime soon either. Both of us probably would need to live together for a time to see if we could stand one another like that, but I kind of have a hard time seeing her moving out of Detroit. And me well, I'm a country boy, I don't think I could really hack it in the city. And no, I'm not just talking about Detroit.
