There's this point in the class where a newly formed team was talking for the first time, the manager was Chinese, a Mexican guy, a black woman, and white lesbian were his team. The dialog was just so bad I had tears in my eyes. Then there was another with a group going on a trip and one of the people in the group is wheelchair bound. Somebody ordered extra corn this year! Oh, and as I a white male, I was explicitly told that I'm no longer to be thought of as the Devil, that diversity training has moved past such things in this newly enlightened era. :D

I second the "ain't happening that fast". I really like this girl, but jeeze, we've only been dating for 2 months for Parise's sake. That would be jumping the gun a bit.

One of my friends told me that her boyfriend forced her into updating her relationship status on Facebook because "it's not official until it's Facebook official." She wasn't kidding.

I don't doubt it, but I've mostly heard "Facebook official" in a not serious context, and as a jab at people who do take it that seriously.

I'm still a minimum of a year out from even popping the question. So I would be a bad bet considering several other couples are much closer to weddings.

It's a beautiful night out. The windows are open, the air is off. I'm about a block and a half from Adrian College's baseball and softball facilities. More or less, I can hear the speaker system......

......I just heard the first notes of Macarena.

I may have to head over there with a shovel..
