Only 88 in West Michigan today.

Good news on the job front: I have an interview for an inside sales rep position with Graphics House tomorrow at 11 AM, and on top of that, I passed the background check for a bus driver position with Pioneer Resources. Things are looking up!

Spent a good chunk of the day in the water floating down a river. Kids had a blast.

Supposed to be on vacation until 7/19. Have to go into the office for a bit tomorrow. Oh well.

Evening, Lodge. At least I didn't have to wear a wool coat today :o

Seriously, I'm glad that my supervisors actually give a * about their employees. They had two big tubs of Gatorade (iced down) there all day, they brought ice cream bars and other frozen goodies, and one guy who was looking a little ragged got told to stay in the A/C and was pretty much hand-fed electrolytes and water.


Also, I highly enjoyed seeing fireworks from a 26th floor apartment last night, while having a beer :D

Probably bits from his mom's caramel rolls.

Man, I could use a few of those soon. (no, that's NOT a euphamism. His mom makes awesome caramel rolls)
