It's amazing what an martini (and then some), a glass of wine and a delicious meal served by hottie bartender does for one's disposition, especially after having the day that I had today. Decided to meet my friend tonight as both of us have plans tomorrow. She has a class on Wednesdays and usually can't get there till close till 7pm so I usually get there about 6-ish to wait, but after the day I had today, I had every intention of leaving right at 5pm to get my drink and sit and mellow out. Thankfully another friend of ours joined me. No chance to watch the Stanley Cup there as the Red Sox and Celtics were on, plus USA-Brazil, which made no sense. Who cares about that??? Over hockey!! Oh well. Home now, watching hockey. Just the way the day should end.

yes.
she was on vacation with her then hubby sitting on a beach when she got some sext. she replied back and this dude took the initiative and wanted to hook up. she did and started something. she left the hubby and shacked up with sext'er. she divorced hubby and this loser, after everything was finalized, gives HER BACK THE WEDDING RING AND TELLS HER TO CALL HIM WHENEVER SHE IS READY. anyhow, the loser dude she now shacks up with turns houses (this is his job) and we all now what soon happens. seems the last house he flips he has her buy off him
. whenever they'd fight he'd kick her out, yelling "GET OUT OF HERE, YOU CHEATIN' WHORE!!!" [by the way, i'm liking this guy... he also sued one of the cities north of boston because they didn't hire him for the po-po, instead hired some guys of color who had lower scores.. in the trial it came out that one of the overriding reasons he was passed over is BECAUSE HE HAS BEEN IN FIGHTS WITH THE TOWNS COPS!]
anyhows...
idiot former hubby gets married maybe three years ago now. throws the slut for a loop. she immediately marries the flipper and gets knocked up. so there are new children running loose out of that gene pool.
she was a mess at the firm where i worked with her. made mistakes costing hundreds of thousands of dollars. her boss wouldn't fire her because she was her first hire. (dumb, but??) slept around with vendors. horrible personality. plus she had man hands! her underlings called her 'stubs'. on again, off again comedy. ugh.
oh, big viney tramp stamp on her backside too. just a walking stereotype. we also heard at the firm she worked at before we hired her she was out one night and did some lesbo kissing with a co-worker (which, is fine if you ask me...) at a nudie bar. word got around and she was soon looking elsewhere. learned a lesson from that!

Yay for 7am meetings with the UK, that last 15 minutes. One of my coworkers is complaining because he "didn't understand a damm word they said". He's not really used to the Scotish accent, I guess. I didn't think it was that difficult...
MNS, do you still want to give me a quick ride to the airport tomorrow? I looked at my schedule, and I have to be there earlier than I thought, so we probably don't have time for lunch. I can get you back when we go to the Craig Morgan concert though. I'm planning on leaving my truck at the gf's apartment, so I'd just need a ride from the dinkytown area to the Humphrey Terminal.

The big Boston trip is tomorrow. I should be getting the house ready for my in-laws (who are coming to watch the kids while we're away). I think I'll get more coffee instead. I mean, they know how to use a broom, right?

Excellent. While I don't like the water to be high for speed purposes, it allows plenty of space to pass other boats. It's a catch-22, really.
Although I'm off the boat within the next 4 hours for the next 2 weeks. Driving the rental to Pittsburgh airport, dropping another guy off, then driving to Syracuse to get my own car and drive the remaining 3 hours. 540 miles, should take 9-10 hours I figure. Redbull shall be my friend today.

and the Sweden trip is booked. It isn't as bad as I thought it would be before, I will be flying to Stockholm on the evening of the 21st, so the 22nd will only have 3 flights, not 4 like I originally thought.
