Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #149 - Best adaptation of a movie title-and the lodgie goes

Morning Lodge.

Went with Mrs goldy to an open house at MNS's high school this AM. We are considering private, Catholic, school for jr. Looking for smaller class sizes and more involved teachers. Also looking at where Greyeagle's kid went and one other (Academy of Holy Angels). Not liking paying for another education since we already pay for the one he's getting now and the one he won't be getting if he changes schools, but...

EGD wasn't too bad. I've got gastritis, duodenitis, and ulcers on my vocal cords. I'm on the blandest diet in the world for the next 4-6 weeks. No grease or fat, no eggs, no red meat, no butter, no onions, no ice cream, no peanut butter... FML.

One half liter of beer and I am under the table. ;)

Wouldn't have been easier to tell you to just be a vegan minus any sugar or oils for the next 6 weeks?

So Almsy, I was looking at the end of the last poll and wondered - how far ahead did you get in your "Quote of the Day" calendar?

I have my own quote database that I pulled them from.

Shouldn't have offered the client those cash only "extras"

Actually Jerkface, the client was an assault victim in the past. Me being so freaking big doesn't help overcome that kind of trauma.

Found out this am that my boat is supposed to take another boat's barges next week somewhere between Baton Rouge and Greenville while they go to the shipyard. Where are we going, you ask? To Houston/Port Arthur to load, then take them all the way up to Congo, WV, about 50 mi from Pittsburgh. I really, really hope I get to stay on here for that, because that's a SWEET run.

The Jr. High Asst. Principal at BSM is a good friend of ours, really good guy.

If your jr has any questions and would like to talk to my jr let me know. Mine was not at all into the military aspect of STA and that part of the school is often the biggest worry for kids, and it's really not that big of a deal.

Eh, it's just everything I'm freaking dealing with my parents with their divorce and with trying to keep to keep the farm, I'm just freaking stressed right now. I really need to take some time off, try to unwind some.

Whoever came up with the Verizon commercial with the mother and daughter sobbing in the store needs to spend some shovel time with uncle Hammer.
