You'll probably miss half a period to get a beer, but you could do that, yes. Unless they decide to gate off a certain area for smoking.

they were.... the middle gate on the north side.. but there were no ropes or anything. it was just out that door, then back in that door.

Where is the Great Waters Brewing Company in relation to the X and the Holiday Inn?

If you are on the corner of the X, across from Holiday Inn, facing the X, it's a couple blocks ahead of you and to the left.

Edit: the map makes it look like farther a walk than it really is, especially in nice weather. Decent food and beer there.

If these jackwagons drove 965 miles for Taco Bell, they need multiple shovel shots to the cranium.

Ah, OK, I remember that place now from last year. BU is having something there on Saturday.

Thats worse than the dip****s I knew at Tech that drove to Tenne****ingsee to try Sonic.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 146: Playoff Hockey Activities

I hope they got the screaming ****s on the way back, 30 miles in between rest stops on the expressway. I'm not driving 12 hours just for food, regardless of what it is.

*makes note to self: do not want those eggs*

Man was that funny. I've got food way up in the back of my nose now. Thanks.

yeah :D i'm gonna either hit the place dave mentioned or pick up some rocks off the parking lot.

I was also going to mention The Liffey, that Irish pub kitty-corner from the X (and attached to the Holiday Inn Express), but I just saw on its website "Brunch may be cancelled when there are downtown events." What does THAT mean?

I saw that -- it's at 2:30. I guess they expect folks to blow off the first game. Unless there's some special group ticket for individual games.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 146: Playoff Hockey Activities

The Liffey may have a brunch buffet normally, and may just have menu/limited menu available. We had breakfast at the F4 last year, no problem. Good food there, and they serve an authentic Irish coffee, not the Americanized version.

Edit:

Brenthoven: I'd like a coffee. But make it Irish.
Waitress: Ok, next?
bbdl: I would like an orange juice......with VODKA IN IT!
Waitress: Oh, I know how THIS game goes!

:D

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 146: Playoff Hockey Activities

I don't know what is more effeminate: the Kevin Bacon solo dance scene/montage in the barn-like building in Footloose, or the "Rock Me Tonight" video by Billy Squier.
