Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 146: Playoff Hockey Activities

Good Morning Lodge.

Jr's team lost in the finals last night. Just did not have the jump the last several games of this season, got into finals on fumes, it seemed. Played a very good team who played really well. I think our guys got burned out by the end. Finished 36-3-2. I don't think any of them have played anywhere near 41 games on a season before, it turned into a grind by the end. Final was 5-2 Tonka.

Now you have time to look for a job. :)

When did BG learn how to play hockey? ****!

February. They had 6 CCHA wins during the season. Now they have 4 CCHA tourney wins. Even though it would mean my team losing, I think it'd be awesome if BG matches their season wins in the CCHA tourney.

Also, by being a lodge member and a CCHA fan does it mean my team is destined to loose to BGSU (especially since we play them next)? I know the Lodge has NMU fans and our Ferris State fan. Do we have other CCHA cheering interests?

Morning.

Other than SCSU, the Final Five field is pretty daunting for whoever ends up winning it. Messing around with the Predictor, a Minnesota win would put them as high as #3.

My condolences to those who's hockey season is over.

Morning Lodge!

Just got off a three day weekend... and now its time for a three day work week! :D

It still will be the longest three day week every :(

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 146: Playoff Hockey Activities

So if any of y'all will be in Tampa by noon on the 4th and want to get a baseball fix, the Yankees host the Mets in the final spring training game of the season. I'll probably be going to check it out (of course, being a Yankees fan helps there). Also planning on the Yankees @ Tampa game Sunday the 8th.

I can't remember how many games I used to play at the bantam level. I do remember I only had 1 year of bantams, I think it was the year USA hockey changed their ages or something. I do remember having 56 pt seasons my 2nd year of peewees and my bantam year, so I would guess we played 45 or 50 games.

Haven't gotten your email yet. I am awaiting. And the plan is I am crashing at LWB's Thu and Fri, if that makes a difference....
So does this mean that plans have changed for Friday/Saturday, and people won't be crashing at your place? Let me know, I just want to plan ahead.

Wasn't going to email you until the tickets are ready to be picked up. Honestly, You not picking up the tickets impacts you much more than it impacts me.

Yeah, Chez Rube is closed on Thu and Fri night. Open on Sat night for anyone who joins me for Johnny Holm.

Good morning Lodge!! It's a beautiful day here in 617-ville. Yet I have somehow come own with a cold. It started Friday. Been taking Zicam so it hasn't really developed into a major head cold but I am really wiped. Slept through my alarm this morning. Couldn't blame it on the lateness of the OT game as that ended at 8:30. This is going to be a ridiculously busy week I'm afraid. I can't afford to be sick.

OK

What are others planning? Anyone want to try to find a hotel room for Friday night? Otherwise I'll just stay sober and drive home.

Nothing going on at work... all i really want to do is set up for next weekend... hotel, plane tickets, rampage plans, etc.

I keyed out one scenario last night where it looked like an effective Michigan-Minnesota-Lowell-MTU bracket... of course a lot of miracles would need to happen for that one. I know the other Lowell fans don't want to, but I really want to head out west. Bridgeport is a dump and Worcester I've done before a million times.

The biggest miracle being that MTU wins the Broadmoor. :p
If that happens, I'll be furious, because I'll be in Sweden and unable to see Tech play in the NCAA's. I don't think I have much to worry about, it would take an incredible run to get there.
