At the HHT before sundown, regardless of tonight's results.

Girls won today in OT to stay alive and force a mini-game, then won the mini-game 0:20 into OT on a power play. CCHA officials with rabbit ears the size of Dumbo deserve the shovel treatment.

Anyone in the twin cities interested in finding something to do tonight? I wasn't planning on doing anything, but now that I've sat at home and cleaned my guns, did laundry, did my taxes, washed dishes and caught up on my DVR, I feel like I should find something to do for the evening.

I'm watching a double header of hockey: MN first, then DU.

And now I'm getting some martinis ready for Scarlet. I have a feeling she may need some.

Yes.

Looks like somewhere in the upper midwest is going to get clobbered on Tuesday-Wednesday. For the first time all winter, it looks like a storm system will be able to tap into Gulf moisture and pull it northward. The weather service is stating that a couple past storms that match up well with this type of scenario dumped a foot to a foot and a half of snow over a widespread area over southern/central MN.

Here's hoping we end up on the right side of the abortion (warm sector) and don't get that much. I wanted snow a month or two ago - now I want spring, dammit!

As long as the weather is nice on Thu and Sun, I don't care. I don't need any delays at the airport, like last time I went to the Springs.

The pattern is expected to remain active for the next 1-2 weeks. My guess is Thursday will be fine with such a big storm moving through Tuesday-Wednesday.

Good. The last time, flights were delayed enough that I actually got a seat on a flight that was delayed from 2 hours before my original departure to 1 hour past my original departure, and then added a 2 hour layover at DIA. At least there were no babies on the flights. ;)

Good evening Lodge.

BSU is playing Wisconsin this weekend. My .02 worth......... they are a chippy team (WI) Lots of talking and shoving after the whistle and lots of tacky stick work during play. Not nessecarily a bad thing but nonetheless I wasn't impressed.

Hopefully things don't get nasty as little gII is scheduled to get his tonsils and adenoids removed and tubes put in on Tuesday and the procedure is being done out of town.

Last Monday we got 4 inches of the heavy slushy stuff. Three accidents in the span of an hour or so and 6 people died. One accident claimed the life of a 13 year old. Sad story as her dad was one of the first responders to arrive on the scene. I know the guy. It's really a sad deal. Another accident claimed 4 young women. Nasty accident. Real nasty. The car that the girls were in had to be taken "off site" so they could get the bodies out. I know quite a few guys on the volunteer fire department. Between those two accidents some of the guys are taking things pretty rough.

bbdl, I was wrong. He's headed over. And gmann, I'll be checking out your game between periods of the MN game. :)

I may just go over to the neigbors shop and drink beer. I don't think I want do drive far and it would be nice to sleep at home again.

edit: if you guys do want to go out somewhere at some point, shoot me a text, I may be interested. Send it within the next hour or 2, so I don't drink too much beer at the shop and can't drive down there. :p

Thanks Brent. Was just coming here to post for someone to get one ready for me. Jeez, they're playing the worst team in the league, a team they beat with relative ease last night. Had the game tying goal called back. Missed an open net at the end of the 2nd. And the pre-game lemon drop I had was not good. Where's hottie bartender when I need him??? *sigh*
