Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 144: (Lack of) Winter Wonderland

No way am I going to be in St Paul on St Pat's/F5 day.

And I'll be tailgating until gametime, so I don't think I'd be your best option for unloading tickets.

Ok, I'll see if I can find someone else to deal with it.

s'upp ya'll.

i'm definitely doing grand forks. hope it's in october.

regionals in mn have appeal. though i hope bu gets to stay close to worcester to play/lose their one game.

when i had mine out in hs, i had them give me pain pills - that i didn't need, but took for recreational purposes. those and the booze i drank later that night at a foozball game had me ralphing all over the place.

speaking of, wonder why i didn't ask for any after the root canal yesterday.. always fun to have a stash.
When I did that, I felt like I was melting.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 144: (Lack of) Winter Wonderland

I thought getting the wisdom teeth pulled hurt. Then one turned into a dry socket. That initial pain is NOTHING. A mere dull ache compared to your jaw being exposed to air. Agony. Second worst pain I have ever felt.

That made me really apprehensive about the French fries, but they smelt so good, and I was so hungry...

What is the worst pain that you have ever felt?

I had a really bad case of swimmer's ear once. It felt like I was being stabbed in the ear with an icepick with every heartbeat. I could barely eat or talk because moving my jaw hurt too much. I lost almost 20 pounds over those four days.

Ew. The wisdom teeth made me have constant TMJ & ear pain to the point that I was taking Vicodin every other day until my surgery. I can't IMAGINE how that ^^ would hurt.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 144: (Lack of) Winter Wonderland

I have broken multiple bones, some twice. Nothing ever came close to approaching the dry socket or ear infection as far as pain goes.

*HT. What a time for our goalie to turn into a regular human instead of Superman and puck luck turn into a distant memory. Thot there was going to be blood on the ice. First they didn't call anything- players were running each other from across the ice, cross checking each other and pretty much looking like the Hansons- then they tried to create small towns in the penalty box by blowing the whistle every 30 seconds, then they went back to letting them kill each other. I could never be a ref. There must be some logic to it I don't get.

On a positive note for the first time in months we have no place to be tomorrow!
