You're dating a stripper?
You don't think a normal girl would let him sleep with her do you?:D

I would like to know why a supervisor at another store thought it was appropriate to call and "talk to" my service desk employee telling her what she did was wrong when A) It wasn't and B) she was acting under MY and MY BOSS' direction. Not to mention that kind of thing is against company policy...

Good for you for requesting the review. That shows a lot of initiative. Would you have had a review with the owners and the GM anyway, even if you weren't having an issue with the GM? It's got to suck having a direct superior be such an ***. I thank my lucky stars that my boss is great. My annual review went really well the other day. She gave me the same performance rating as I got last year, which says something as our department was told that our overall ratings needed to be lower to fall in line with other corporate departments or some gobbledeegook. One member of my team left late yesterday for a vacation and her iggest client called my boss today asking where this person is. I guess she didn't know that my teammate was out and stuff is in process and needed an update. That's not good. She never said anything to me to cover anything. Or others on my team. My boss is really annoyed. I do not want to be nearby when she gets back from her trip.

My review would normally be with just the owners, and not usually with the GM there. As he is the one I work with most of the time, I requested he be there, too. The three of them were confused as to why I'd want another review, but I just told them I needed a progress report. Also, before I took over, there were 2 assistant managers, so we're having a few growing pains taking the work of 3 people and cutting it down to 2, and the transition was rough and by the seat of our pants, so it's time to clean up more of who does what, when, and how.

Today was better, though. Finally.

Heh, I suppose I could use one of those too, from my foray into the Neg Rep thread. :o
No, just that she's bit of a freak, but well, ain't we all a little bit Freaky?? And well, it was Valentine's Day. The whole Dirty show thing she was probably one of the more conservatively dressed ladies there. It would have been fun to have a whole lot of the collective here there to have shenanagines with there. Random Hockey chants during the burlesque and drag acts would have been funny as hell.

You don't think a normal girl would let him sleep with her do you?:D
Like you should talk Brick House!!! :p

Quick update on little g for those of you keeping score from home.

Earlier in the week we met with staff at the school district to go over his IEP. An IEP is a legal document that is used to make sure that the needs of little g are being identified and met. He received his progress/report card as well from pre school. He scored above average in every area that did not invlove physical stuff. In fact, all areas regarding acedemics have been removed from his IEP. Awesome news.

He has difficulty with things as writing, tracing, using a scissors and other physical stuff. However, three months ago he could not write letters or trace shapes or make a smiley face strictly due to physically being unable to control pen, marker, pencil crayon etc. Today he can write his name and write letters but it is labored and not as neat as others. Obviously he still has issues with other physical stuff like walking jumping etc.

Since his trauma at birth all involved have been concerned about 1)mental disabilities and 2)physical disabilities. It seems that item 1 is or has become a non issue. In fact, tonight we had orientation for kindergarten next fall.

A few years ago all involved would have had a hard time betting on him doing a fraction of what he has accomplished to date.

Good stuff.

- Strong endorsement for Campus Pizza - very good and reasonable 'za and a full bar. We (as a family) get down there a few times a year up and above for sporting events.

- I can only go to the Saturday game so gman is getting off easy....:)....would be fun to meet up.

- Good news on the lad g! What a kid.

- IEP's are wonderful, we've had one for the lass since we found out she was hearing impaired.

- For those keeping score at home, the "what factor" with the lass has gone exponentially since her Cochlear Implant was activated last month. Amazing!

Very good stuff, g. :D Best of luck to the guy! Also, if you're down in the Cities any time this summer, offer's still good for a backstage look at the trolley.

Cue Commie turning that into something dirty :p

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 144: (Lack of) Winter Wonderland

Good evening Lodge.

Mom did great today. A couple of laps around the floor... Vitals are great. She's really, really sick of ice chips though.
Hoping to advance her diet tomorrow.

In other news, I'm having my wisdom teeth removed in the morning.

In other, other news, I'm playing Mom/nurse to my little brother who has pneumonia.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 144: (Lack of) Winter Wonderland

I'm skipping the Saturday game.

Do I need to find a ticket for the Thu games?

Nope, thought that you were only planing on making the Friday games. That leaves 2 extra tickets for the Thursday games, Friday afternoon, and Saturday and only one extra for the Friday night game.

Yeah, totally in for Thu/Fri. But St Pat's in St Paul, with a Wild game, AND a title game....forget it.
