Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 144: (Lack of) Winter Wonderland

So how was Jack, other than the no-bite part? You say he's good looking at least? :p
So you hate voyeurs but love biting? Interesting.

Man, I was just going to go for the distillery angle, but you *ers took it above and beyond. :p

Morning, Lodge. I didn't get to sleep until 3 either, but at least I got a more-full 6 hours. Did get a cover letter cranked out that's been eating at me though.

Just as I figured, my trip to Sweden is now tentatively planned for the week of March 12th.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 144: (Lack of) Winter Wonderland

I hate you all. :p

On the lighter side, I am working on a project for DC Comics.
If you find the old comic book thread and posted that, they'd all tell you to make sure the busts are larger and to make sure the underwear is on the outside of the spandex tights.

Aren't you supposed to be asleep at your desk? :p

Hey don't go stealing my lines now, woman. :p

If you're lucky, that'll progress to anime **** and you can attend their conventions and see a bunch of crazy ****ers dressed up as ****ing dip****s. Saw that in my hotel lobby at the Boston FF in '04 and immediately wondered aloud, "what the **** is this ****?!" I pray I never encounter that insanity again as long as I live.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 144: (Lack of) Winter Wonderland

Feel like garbage today, but I did file my taxes, pay my student loan bill for this month, and file my FAFSA for next year. Getting a significantly larger "refund" than I'd anticipated thanks to a Lifetime Learning credit. Unfortunately, it's all going to pay off my tuition bill from this semester. :o

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 144: (Lack of) Winter Wonderland

Whew, dodged a bullet. I had volunteered to present to a local group of engineers on a topic I had never presented on before. One of our engineers in NY had done a power point for the NY Hospital Engineers and it was good looking set of slides. Got a call this morning that the local group's speaker had pulled out and they need a presenter for this Wednesday. I am supposed to go to a project walk through Wednesday 10 miles away at the exact time the presentation would have ended. So, I would have to learn this thing real quick so I can present it (the original presenter has no written notes) and then I have this conflict. Local group decided to put it off a week so now I can go over it with the author on Friday and do it next week.

Eh, my tax refund is going largely to pay off a credit card bill, and the rest to student loans :o I think you're ahead of the game!

EDIT: What I was trying to say: free tuition! :D

Mr les handles the taxes. He is a notorious procrastinator. So much so that Lil was watching the ads about Tax prep and said "So Dad, how are those taxes going?" I laughed right out loud before I could stiffle it.

Watching the Grammys last night,If you've never even heard of Adele or Bruno Mars, does that mean you're old?

I actually like the performance of Bruno Mars, not sure what that means

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 144: (Lack of) Winter Wonderland

Without even taking tonight's Beanpot Final into consideration....if I can get through end of the day Wednesday without completely going off the deep end, I will consider that a success. this game tonight is just adding to an overly high stress level.

Dang you people. I don't even have my last 1099 yet! (due date for it is February 15th, and of course they're going to wait until the last second to give it to me)

If you think you feel old now...how about Skrillex and deadmau5?

I always love how people refer to their husbands/wives/boyfriends/girlfriends by the comparable version of their screen name. :)

Well ecbrevick has > 30 but otherwise what else do you call them? :)

No clue:) But I doubt they are as mainstream as Adele is. Sirius has taken care of my radio listening, ESPN radio, or Classic Vinyl most of the time

I especially liked that he told everyone to get off their rich arses and enjoy themselves :p Otherwise, the Bruno Mars performance seemed like The Temptations meets Michael Jackson, in a good way, so no worries about losing your street cred.
