Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 143: A Golden ;) Oldie

Picked up a saw cheap at Sears, then had lunch and got my hockey fix at the same time.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 143: A Golden ;) Oldie

Tried again. Said it was "over capacity." You'd think they could figure that out.

Good thing about the Patriots imploding is I can now actually go to a Super Bowl party and watch the game.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 143: A Golden ;) Oldie

Is this my punishment for winning at the game on Friday? The Patriots blow chunks and now the Bruins cough up another lead? I think I still have another show on the DVR to watch.

You feel better now?

Happy hockey table for me today, twice over. Time for a drink.

Brent: what is your ticket situation for next weekend? Shirtless Guy and I are working on getting tickets, and we want to make sure we get what we need. Do you need tickets for both games? Or do you have tickets?

I need two tickets for each game. I'm paying for diva's, since she's letting me crash at the Yooper Palace.

Edit: my second ticket for each game is hers, in other words.

Ok, that is what I thought. Shirtless and I will get tickets for both you and diva for both nights. I'm getting tickets for Friday and Shirtless is getting them for Saturday

Sorry to have to miss the SENANICANS. Sounds like fun. I may have to do a trip like that once before I die.

You know, if Twitter craps the bed like it did today during the AFC Championship game, there won't be a chance it will survive during Super Bowl Sunday.

I kinda feel bad for the easterners. Many of your schools in the conference are all RIGHT THERE, so "road trips" aren't really an option. For the westerners, it's usually a decent hike to another school.

MN-SCSU = about an hour
MN-MSUM = about 90 minutes

Those are the shortest. Other than that, you're looking at at least 2 hours drive time, or a flight.

The good thing is we get to see most away games without having to plan a trip.

Very true. I know for me, if I want to see a whole road series, I have to take at least 1/2 of Friday off, due to my schedule. Even for this trip, because of bbdl's schedule, we'll roll into town only about 30-45 minutes before gametime.

Being a fan of one of the Northernmost ECAC schools, all league games are a minimum of 3 hours away except the Clarkson matchups. The longest (Princeton) is about 7 hours, maybe a touch longer.

The EZAC isn't a real conference. /tArrogance :p
