The technician I'm working with over here could be Sloe Gin's doppleganger, not kidding. Its like I've been working with a Scottish SG, with much, much less rage, and a sense of humor.

1 - My friend's MIL has incurable lung cancer. This is a recurrence of a previous bout with cancer. Treatment may prolong her life for some years but, she's terminal.

2 - My brother has a tumor on his brain stem. I don't know much more than that but, it sucks. He'll be 41 in a couple of weeks.

3 - My dear friend, who was one of the officiants at our wedding, decided to stop treatment yesterday for her mpnst and go into hospice care. She's 35.

I follow quite a few posts on the D1 side for entertainment purposes only. I rarely post because I don't want to get caught up in the shiatstorms that usually start. There are currently a few threads with more than a couple wannabe experts who have no clue what they are posting about. Pretty fricken hilarious. (Let's just say I have been a fly on a wall and I am having a hard time sitting on the sidelines.)

And yay, got all my vacation that I requested approved! Half-Fridays for the month, first couple weeks in March, some days at the end of June, and some days at the end of October. Just in case I need to go on a road trip. Or something. ;)

Nope. There is plenty of that already on the D1 side. Besides, I wear a s&sp and I am a ttpologist.......... who in the hell would take me seriously anyways? ;)

This evening I downloaded an app called TuneIn on my iPhone. I have been listening to 93x (radio station in cityslickerville) for the last couple hours. We don't have fancy stations like that here in 320ville. I like my iPhone and soon I will like my IPad.

Evening, Lodge. I made a darn good meal tonight - shredded pork (Carolina-ish style) on good storebought buns, and pan-fried steak fries. And a beer. :D

What could the p stand for? Pony? Princess? Pencil? Protractor? Peanut? What else????????? If I was smart I would play this one out but I must confess........ It was a typo.

I will be attending both games at Mariucci when BSU comes to town.

Plan A. Mrs. g comes along and we have a nice quiet weekend without the boys.

Plan B. No Mrs. g and I hang out with my best bud and we spend the weekend killing brain cells in which I would be open to meeting some of you post game at a local watering hole.

50/50 for either option.

Ginger cookies and chocolate chip cookies. I'm giving Shirtless Bob a run for his money over here. Thank goodness for co-workers, I need someone to finish them off.

Hottie bartender is hosting a Super Bowl party at a hotel in Boston and he invited me. Which, if I wasn't already invited to another party or feel that if I actually watch the game the Patriots will lose, I might have attended.

So an improvement in nearly every way.

I think that I have worked for 50 hours over the last three days, and I have to be back here at 6 tomorrow morning. I miss my bed. I get to work for 3 hours and then go to a dentist appointment. Just KMN.

I see where you're going with this... if you attend his party, not only will the Pats lose, but you won't get close to hottie bartender? Wise choice, opposite girl :)
