The sacrifices some people have to make...

I should clarify. My dad officially retired this week. He has owned his own business for quite some time and has worked his azz off to be in a position to retire at 59 years old.

I have never been to Hilton Head. I spent quite a bit of time in Savannah though. I am looking forward to visiting at some point. He is going to be there from January through April. Not sure when the best time to hang there but I am thinking summer?????????? FWIW he is pretty much beach side and hole #17 is his back yard.

Something tells me Mookie wants to take advantage of this.

Not sure but I can find out. Funny thing is 1) my dad is not not a golfer and 2) his place will be empty April through January which I am assuming is prime time to be here..............

the whole island is broken into plantations... hilton head when you enter, then port royal, moving south you'll have shipyard on your left (east), long cove and wexford right. ending all in sea pines plantation where the infamous lighthouse and golf course is that we see on tv in the spring.

if he has intentions to rent and the location is nice -- get in touch.

Writing my Christmas letter. Adhering to the non-secular definition of Christmas. I have a whole week more to mail them out.

As a former jockey myself, I'm interested in whether you have an electric ride, or an old-school big-*** propane tank ride.

My old job had the propane version. My current job has the 5000 lb battery version.

And HHT! Celebrating with some Elijah Craig 12YO.

2-2 tie in Omaha. I'll take the point and sit at the HHT for a few...

Eff hockey.

This GLI felt like the beginning of a long skid. It still just blows my mind that with all the preaching of an up-tempo game and generating more chances, we managed to score a grand total of three...er, I mean two goals.

atlantic ocean side. where the marriott is and some nice courses (mid island between port royal and shipyard). dad done well ;)

Good to know. :)

HHT for me.

Anyone know if the Lesnar fight has gone down and if so who won?

So, that falls into a saying my non-board friends say: "...through a screen door." I think you can fill in the rest. ;)

Scarlet: a tie? Dang! I just gave an extra $20 to our #1 bartender for Xmas. Stupid women, always upping the gift level. :p
Gift card for Victoria's Secret. let her get something good to aid in showing off the girls.

Interesting day at work. Had a Cornell professor who was visiting family, one of my regulars, in along with two of my other regulars as well. One of them talked my ear off about how she had to push her appointment back from last week to this week because her well blew up and flooded her basement not a week after they had just put in brand new carpeting. Then I had a trade with another one of our therapist there at Balance. She wanted a lot of shoulder and pec work done. What was kind of impressive after the session we're in the break room and she did have on bit of a low cut shirt and she was kind of red still from all of the deep tissue work I did to her pecs. :o:cool:

Not on yet. firstrowsports (dot) tv (google it) has a good free stream going. My comp is acting up, but Bakunin is letting me know when the Brock fight starts.
