Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 142: On the 1000th Post of the Last Thread

Good morning Lodge. Just made some cinnamon rolls for breakfast. I had bought a package of those Pillsbury ones for when my brother was staying with me and wound up never making them. And he's currently on a plane home, so they're all mine! I figure I can finish them off before New Year's starts and I try to not eat crap.

Not sure what I want to do today. I should try to do some shopping. I need to exchange (hopefully) a sweater I got for Christmas and then use some of the gift cards I got. But I have no motivation to get up off the couch right now.

BACON (Noun)- 1. A type of meat derived from pig. 2. The main reason I'm not a vegetarian.

Men's humor once again on Twitter. Follow if you don't already and are on there.

*Sits down at eff hockey table*

Anyone that plays, whistles, hums, or otherwise performs "Falcone Fight" for the next month, gets a hammerpunch.
And now I have my high school fight song running through my head. STILL don't know why a metropolitan Minnesota school uses the MSU fight song.

Morning, Lodge. Worked late yesterday - as an hourly employee, that is not a bad thing whatsoever. :D Also, I can report that the cask version of the Summit Winter Ale is wonderful. Going up to wish the sister, BIL and nephews a good drive home (to New Mexico! Parise help them, with twin 2 1/2 y.o. boys!) and score some free lunch out of the deal :D

I was right, work was dead. However, our inbound trailer was a big one, so that gave me something to do for half a day, which I didn't mind. Now to relax on this extended weekend.

Good evening Lodge.

Hanging out with my dad tonight. He is leaving tomorrow as he travels to his winter destination in Hilton Head, SC.

I would gladly accept Michigan Tech going 2-36-0 if it meant those two wins came at GLI. *HT once again.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 142: On the 1000th Post of the Last Thread

Might have gotten an AWESOME late christmas present today, but won't say anything until some chips fall into place. Cross some fingers for me if you can!

Work was not a pleasant experience today. :( I will repeat what I have said before. Who ever invented electronic medical records should be boiled in oil after they have been flayed alive, rolled in salt, left in the desert in the path of army ants with thier eyelids pinned open.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 142: On the 1000th Post of the Last Thread

PS glad it is the weekend but unfortunately I have all of today's work to sift thru because half of the stuff is not up and running yet which we can only figure out if we try to do it.:mad::mad:

So, need a ruling. SLU tied Merrimack officially, but won the shootout since the tourney format required it. Do I get to eat sushi tonight or drink my face off at the HHT? Screw it, going to the HHT because it was Merrimack and they're a pretty good team.

For shootout wins/losses, we have the Moderately Pleased Hockey Table with nice flowers and place settings and tea and the Mildly Perturbed Hockey Table with a creepy guy with a combover named Mancuso who stares over your shoulder the whole time.

But... but... I'm more than moderately pleased! Hahaha, ok ok, I'll follow precedent. Eff the shootout, but it's a great start to the 2nd half for SLU, especially after ECAC went 0-3 yesterday against HE, outscored 18-5.

Will make an exception: if that shootout won you something significant like a tournament or other championship of some kind, obviously you get full HHT privileges. Inverse applies to a shootout loss that costs you something.

Of course, then you have teams that go and break the space-time continuum like UAA (last year they won the second game of the Governor's Cup, then lost the shootout for the Cup itself.)

As a former jockey myself, I'm interested in whether you have an electric ride, or an old-school big-*** propane tank ride.

Well, we've only won the chance to win something significant (championship game tomorrow night), but I can agree with that philosophy.

Bob, see my earlier post about the definition of bacon. Bacon is prettttttty much >>>>>>>>>> everything, very few exceptions.
