Good morning Lodge! It's cold here today. Trying to psych myself up to go food shopping. I was going to invite my parents over today to have my mother teach me to cook something, but there's TV to catch up on and I would up sleeping later today than I expected. Oh well. Maybe next Sunday. And Dad can watch the Patriots in the AFC Championship Game! What a game last night. In the interest of full disclosure, I went over to a friend's house to watch the game after BU's game. By the time I got there, it was 35-7. I was cautiously optimistic that I could sit and watch without worry of a comeback.

You know what I noticed over in DI (at least for the Hockey East schools)? No one uses the Score Updates thread. For BU, the Free Press has its own live blog for people to discuss the game. In reading other teams' threads, I notice a lot more chatter about specific games. I wonder why that has happened. Not really a big deal, but I just found it a little odd.

My guess is those of us in flyover country are more backwards and haven't fully embraced things like Twitter and live blogs.

Either that or we just like arguing with opposing fans when the inevitable questionable calls / dust-ups occur. :p

Alcohol is fun.

Johnny Holm Band concert was a good time last night. We drank a bunch and had a pretty **** fun time. I ran into a former Tech player, which happens way more often than it should.

It was a fun night.

A girl loudly declared "I'm drunk! Let's go inside!" to her bf.....at 8pm. Then later she sat at our table, wondered why we not on the dance floor. We told her we needed our food tab. So she said she'd go find our waitress to help us out. She failed, of course. Later on, she shoved bbdl out of the way so she could order a drink at the bar (and didn't realize that she had talked to him earlier in the night).

Some married chick grinding on MNS, and him not doing anything about it (of course).

Seeing the waitress's reaction when I ordered a side of bacon with breakfast. Except I wanted it covered in cheese sauce. :D

Played 36 today. First round took 2:10, second 18 took 2:15.

Golf as it should be! ;)

Why would you defile bacon by making a bacon cheeseburger? Or putting it in omelette? :rolleyes:

That's not defiling bacon. That's adding bacon to something else to make it better. You're trying to add something to bacon to make bacon better.

So, why would you defile bacon like that? :p
