So I was told at work today I need to get my Passport, looks like 2012 could be a little interesting, granted we are looking to double our business next...

FFL game coming right down to the wire. I'm still down 2 and change, but I've also had just about everything go my way so far. If I had to guess, I think I'm done.

Haven't made the decision yet. I have until everyone gets back to work after the 1st of the year to make up my mind. I'm leaning towards not taking it, it isn't as much of a step up as they originally made it sound, and I am really being pulled towards continuing working on alternative fuel projects, which the new job wouldn't involve.

Good morning, Lodge!

Had my meeting with my advisor yesterday. In order to take skills 1 over again, I need to fill out an appeal form, find 2 instructors and another advisor to sign off on it, plus write a formal appeal to the dean of the CIM himself. Meanwhile, in order to switch to Baking/Pastry, all I have to do is contact the department chair, meet with him, and hope he approves my entry. Either way, I have options.

Bob, just a thought - have you cosidered trying to get a job in the industry first to see if you like it in real life before going any further with the education? I don't remember you ever posting about actual restaurant work and I believe it is way different than cokking for yourself or friends. There are usually entry level jobs available in that industry and it might give you a better idea of where you want to go with this.

Yes, he's a good hockey player. He's just so darn over-hyped that it becomes annoying. He alone creates bandwagon fans.
