AFAIK, it isn't. And I guess in the trailer, there are no logos of the school, but LOTS of scenes take place in very recognizable places at the school. I might go watch the movie if only to see if our name is indeed in any of the scenes, but I still don't like the fact that the school played such a prominent part in the filming of it. Meh.

Why would anyone want to go see a gay Romeo and Juliet anyway? The Romeo and Juliet movie has been done so many times, whats the point of making another one, and then throwing the gay in there too?

Most likely this. It's being advertised as something like the best love story ever or something ridiculous like that. I only know a LOT of current students are not real happy about it, and I imagine a lot of alums are in that crowd too.

Versus the usual new movie lineup, which features remakes of every single television show from thirty years ago? :p

Yeah, you would think they would use some made up name for the school and used some made up logo as well.

Evening all! Hope your day is going better than mine. On my way to work here some IDIOT wasn't paying attention to the light I was stopping and and ran into the back of me. :mad::mad: Car seems to be driveable for now, but don't think I can really open the back hatch on it right now. Really not what I wanted to be dealing with. At least its' his fault and that should get most of it fixed for me I believe. Happened right at Michigan and Platt, ended up making the police report there in the parking lot of the Pittsfield township offices. Still not looking forward to dealing with the insurance and crap associated with that.

Well, the name of the HS military institution in the movie isn't that of my alma mater, but if anybody were to see the movie and then say, visit the school or anything like that, it would be impossible to mistake it. While some might think it's awesome that the movie was shot there (and normally, it would be) it is NOT the first. Several parts of the Departed were shot there, as well as some other scenes in various movies and TV episodes (CSI for sure, maybe others).

Ughhhh, I want to go back to our old run. This new run SUCKS and we're only on day 3.

Passed my knife skills final! Didn't do so well on fabrication, but at least I have a snowball's chance of making it to skills 2 next quarter!

I believe that they are going after the media as was state earlier. Should be interesting to see what happens.
