Those will clear your sinuses.

Kinda afraid of later. I'll have to find some ethnic grocery store that carries those, though. Like I said, they were tasty, I just didn't expect that heat.

Where's mookie?! He'd know the answer to what I'm about to ask.

Got some Szechuan Beef from the local Chinese place, and they had some peppers in there. Holy f*ing hannah. About 1.5-2 inches long, not very big in diameter at all (not even as big as round as a pencil), dark maroon in color. Instant sweat, and 2 glasses of milk later, I still am feeling the heat.

It was really good, though.

Red pepper not for eating!

So... Was it better or worse than the 99%?

Excuse me... can someone point me to the happy hockey table? It's been a while since I was there and I've forgotten where it is. Oh, wait... I think I see it.

Rosefrickinbowl.

Watching Bemidji in the state championship for high school football. 6 minutes left down 17 - 10.

Took the g family out to chop down our Xmas tree. Haven't had a real tree for a long long time. The kids got to hang out with Santa for a bit as well . Good times.

Got home and had a message on the machine. The inlaws wanted to know what time we wanted to have dinner with them on Xmas day. Oh boy.

Szechuan peppers I think. I ate one once by mistake. I swear I had a 2nd degree burn in my throat for a week. I sort of chioked on it, laughing at someone said and it got stuck. I thought I was going to die.

I accidentally took one at the local beer and chinese food place.... tongue burn... serious tongue burn.

I think ketchup is hot. One of those peppers hoven ate would have killed me. :)

I can eat jalapenos and serranos no problem. Habaneros are up there, and this one dwarfed habaneros. Yes, I know that the same kind of pepper varies, and the ones I had today....hoo boy. Pick of the litter.

Like a toddler only more than one of them- test, test, test...

Good. Thinking about taking the boys to it.
They will love it. Lil loved it too. He was laughing at the grown-up double entendres. That was a bit weird for me. :p

Heh, yep I remember making the mistake of not seeing one of those peppers when I had General Tso's chicken once back in school. Yaaaaa, those things sure can pack a punch.

Evening, * hockey table, but we split with MTU for the weekend, so I'm alright with the end result. Tough road weekend at Cornell and Colgate next week, but we'll see how things play out, they're playing pretty well right now.

Somewhere there is a person who can eat those like they're berries.... I am not one of those.

I was at Buffalo Wild Wings one evening while I was in cityslickerville a few weeks ago. We ordered a bunch of wings and I had quite a few beverages in me at that time. I thought I was eating wings from the "mild" basket but I misread "wild" for "mild". ( mild are the weakest and wild are one of the hotter ones) I thought my heart was going to explode. I literally broke into a sweat. I actually don't mind spicy stuff it's just that I don't eat it enough to build up a tolerance.

I can eat the hotter peppers with no problem. Jalapenos, serranos, even habaneros don't bother me. Szechuan peppers don't cause a problem for me at all.
