Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 140: The Brave Days of Old

Good Morning Lodge.

You know, sometimes I think Brent and Bakunin have the maturity level of a couple 13 year old boys. Then the rest of the time I realize that's too insulting to 13 year old boys. :p

Hey hey hey. We're plenty mature. We just have creative minds; especially when we're bored. Or angry. :p

You hush, Oldy McOlderson! ;)

What a drab day in Cake-Eater land. It's not warm, it's not cold, it's cloudy and a little misty. This Seattle weather has to stop.
:D

You need to move to Capital City, MN where it's always 75 & sunny.

Where's mookie?! He'd know the answer to what I'm about to ask.

Got some Szechuan Beef from the local Chinese place, and they had some peppers in there. Holy f*ing hannah. About 1.5-2 inches long, not very big in diameter at all (not even as big as round as a pencil), dark maroon in color. Instant sweat, and 2 glasses of milk later, I still am feeling the heat.

It was really good, though.

I'm tempted to get chinese tonight... got a 20% off offer from a delivery website over thanksgiving weekend.

I learned to try to fish those out many years ago. Even with the dullness of the senses that comes along with old age, the smallest piece of one of those packs a wallop.

Thinking of old age, I realized a few days ago that a certain Beatles song will be appropriate for me in a little over a month. :(

I love spicy stuff, these things just took me off-guard. The place recently redid their menu, and I know these peppers weren't in there before the re-do.

You're going to turn into a walrus?

Szechuan peppers I think. I ate one once by mistake. I swear I had a 2nd degree burn in my throat for a week. I sort of chioked on it, laughing at someone said and it got stuck. I thought I was going to die.

Went and saw the Muppet movie. It. was. awesome.

Looks like you're right. Did a google image search, then found a link. Yep. Thanks!
