Eh, I was a bit cranky last night because D2F had shut down their MB last night just so they wouldn't lose their website due to all of the gnashing of teeth over who didn't get into the playoffs. Simple answer to all of that is that your team shouldn't have lost 3 games then.The SCSU crack for Monster is becuase usually only the Jan Brady fans are that thin skinned to hand out neg rep for something like that.

Another early morning at the airport for me tomorrow morning. My flight to Rochester, NY leaves at 6:30, flying via Detroit. Then I get to spend 3 days at a landfill, I can't wait.
I'm ready for Saturday, and my week of killing animals. My shotgun (yes, I'm in a shotgun area, no rifles) is now accurate up to 150 yards, so this should be fun.

So, this year instead of getting "x days of vacation" my company finally converted to "earned hours per month," (standard personal time off). Carryover limit is 40 hours, you lose the extra hours after that. Well, some people didn't realize how exactly it all worked out (including me, I was wondering if Dec's earned hours counted for this year or next). There are people who apparently are losing 30-40 hours of PTO.
I'm only losing 6 hours, due to some bad math, so no big deal on my end. Also found that given how long I've been there, I will earn 5 weeks and 1 day of vacation next year. That doesn't include my 40 carryover from this year.

I am a little sore today. Little g had his first practice yesterday for MN Special Hockey. He sits in a regular metal fold up chair and I push him around. I haven't done some of this drills in quite a long time let alone pushing a chair.

You should come out to my place some time soon then. Been having a ton of Canadians coming into our corn field every evening here for about 2 weeks. Seems like there's always been like a hundred birds out there every time I've looked in the evening. For some reason when they took the corn out they missed a lot of corn ears some how with it, and some how the word went north with them I guess. Hell, if you wanted to, you could probably bag your limit from our back porch.Thanks to a favorable migration report, I will indeed be pursuing waterfowl on the MN/SoDak border this weekend.
