Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 139: The Halloween Edition

Patience, I have none.

Got a call to set up an interview today, did not get person's name or contact info (other than # which they called from). Awaiting email confirming interview for thurs. morning. Is it stupid to schedule an interview for the morning after a bachelorette party?

Yes. You want this job, or not?

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 139: The Halloween Edition

Anyone want to go to Vegas? (I know I ask this regularly) :p

My birthday is in mid-December, and it would be fun to go to Vegas, plus it would be cheaper than the original plan of NYE. Of course, if people want to go for NYE, I'm still up for that.

My therapist is pushing me to take all kinds of vacations... of course, I think if I did go to Vegas I'd get lectured for not doing it right (kickball captain is a Vegas townie).

It's your vacation. If someone else doesn't like it they can go eat **** with a butter knife.

Well said.

and if he is from Vegas, seems like he should be able to tell you what to do in Vegas before you go. Just be sure to make the point that you want to get the tourist experience, and not check out the townie back room/off the beaten path stuff. Maybe after going there a couple times that stuff would be good, but I think the first time you go, you'll just want to see as much as you can of the strip and downtown, because there really is so much there to see that you won't run out of stuff to do.

I would love to go to Vegas. Can't justify it now. Why? Because I had to replace my garbage disposal. I'm trying to figure out what the next big expense will be, probably something with the car.

I'd love to go to Vegas too, but can't justify it with class taking up most of my time and having to replace my running shoes.

At least class is fun.

Hm. I get off the boat ~December 15th. However I'm already penciling together a roadtrip to NC for a week or so. I'll get to Vegas next year.

A garbage disposal should only be about $65-150, depending upon quality. And they're really easy to replace on your own. I swear on Brent's life.

Trust him, he installed one. He can only count to nine now but it went in easily. :D

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 139: The Halloween Edition

I just built a trip to Vegas, for my the weekend after my birthday (my birthday is on a wednesday), leaving Friday, returning Monday, for $325 each. Mystery 4 star hotel on the strip (guessing the Luxor or Flamingo)
