Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 139: The Halloween Edition

Install it myself??? Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha. Who are you kidding?

It's not hard. I installed one at my dad's house. He would have done it himself but old man river couldn't get under the sink. The hardest part was trying to sort through the mess of copper piping. The way the guys who installed it new was incredibly stupid. The copper piping blocked access to the connections on the sink making it nearly impossible to get them off.

I just can't imagine paying someone to install something like that. I have no problem paying for major stuff, but for the little stuff it seems like such a waste of money.

Good morning Lodge.

I Took today off to spend with little gII. We are currently at Caribou Coffee and he is enjoying a strawberry banana smoothie and a chocolate chip cookie (he already ate a very nutritious breakfast).

Next we are off to the YMCA to go swimming.

First aid/CPR this morning. Red Cross has now made both 2 year certifications, so I'll be good until Nov 2013 after today.

Had some good and loud thunderstorms roll through last night down here, even had a tornado watch, but nothing happened afaik.

If he is anything like his father, he would probably wanted that smoothie "Irish" style. ;)

Morning, at work waiting for clients to show up.

I have a huge bruise on my shoulder from sighting in my shotgun...I only shot 4 rounds. These new Hornady slugs I'm going with pack a little more punch than I'm used to. :D

If you don't know what you are doing, it is far better to just have a professional do it rather then deal with the problems that come from an incorrect installation.

This. Plus, my sink was leaking everywhere. I had already taken the day off for my root canal. I have no time to spend shopping and figuring out how to install as I have no tools nor ability to do that sort of stuff. If I waited and the leaking continued, I would have had to replace the cabinet plus worry that leaking would go into the tenant downstairs from me, causing me to have to pay to get their roof and kitchen redone. No thanks.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 139: The Halloween Edition

I just found a way to do NYE in Vegas for $460 + some fees, etc. each. This trip is still 3 nights, but goes into the next week, so we'd have to take about a day and a half of vacation at the start of 2012. Cheap enough for anyone yet? :p

I've never wanted the Mavs to smoke the Huskies so badly in my life. The arrogance from one of their poster's is unbelievable.

One day left. Gotta push through this week.

Man was it cold picking up the kids at school. And the little buggers wanted to stay and play on the playground!
