Nowhere to go but up, 'ewe. You'll get through this, and then the sun will shine on you.

And found that I'm earning PTO days faster than I am using them, meaning I'll be above the 40-hour carryover limit unless I start taking more days off. So my 3-day work week might have just turned into a 2-day work week. :D

Well earned, IMHO.

Taking apart a dishwasher at 11 PM, only to find that you're missing one allen wrench, is always an excellent idea.

I may beech and moan, but I love the actual work, and the fact that I'm unbelievably challenged from time to time (like last Fri), and counted on in that fashion makes it worthwhile.

Know what the real secret to the awesomeness of the Showerbeer? It's not the taste, or the relaxation it causes.....it's the fact that you know you earned that motha *a. :)

Morning!

Absolutely nothing interesting going on today for me.

They are going to change the filters for the convectors in my apartment today. When that is the high point of the day, I guess that I am in the same boat.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 137: Counting the long summer days

Everything on my to-do list at work is one of those things that is a huge pain in the ***. Looks like it will be a great day of work.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 137: Counting the long summer days

'Morning, Lodge. Only a 5 hour day at the store later on, and wing night at the DubhLinn later tonight. Oh, and I hope at some point I'll find out if I'm home alone for another night or not.

And, happy birthday, Bob!

Good morning Lodge. Flying home today. Another Emmy trip done. Took tomorrow off as well. These cross country flights are a pain. It will be good to have the day to recover.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 137: Counting the long summer days

Guy who jumped my car last night (public safety officer at school) hooked the charger up to the wrong contacts, may have boned the whole electrical system. Things just keep looking up...

Thank you! And thanks for joining me in my birthday toast last night...
