Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 137: Counting the long summer days

I really wish that facebook and the festering ****s who run in are hit by a bus. It manages to get more and more difficult to navigate and figure out what is going on with each update. I can only imagine what a 40 year old thinks that site....

Why is it so difficult to have things is an organized, chronological manner?

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 137: Counting the long summer days

Welp, the moral event horizon has officially been breached. I am prepared to disown my alma mater now that they're in the act of BRIBERY.

Awesome. Now I can hear FM rant some more about this whole hobo thing.

In all seriousness, that's pretty darn wrong. How is tSBFitW reacting to this "offer"?

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 137: Counting the long summer days

Yeah. Very odd. I am doubting the government's case due to the change in the charges, plus their previous "ties to terrorism" claim. However, the lack of rebuttal (even if it was a cliched stock response) by Ferguson/Lederer camp makes my ears perk up. Either way, I only lost about $30, and am going to guess that there will be a settlement, and hope that it becomes legal/regulated, although I highly doubt that online poker will ever become legal/regulated.

Deevs: check your FB in about a minute or so, per hotel you're staying at this weekend.

What's all this about hobos, bribes, and fingers?

Michigan Tech's Homecoming used to have a "hobo" theme to it. People would dress in ratty old clothes, drive beat- up junker cars in the parade, etc. The Pep Band would traditionally go all- hobo as well for the parade.

The university has been trying to phase this out over the years because apparently it's not PC or something. It has gotten worse and worse over the past few years.

Long story short, the university has offered the Pep Band a significant amount of cash to not wear hobo clothes for the parade.

tSBFitW has done fine thus far. I say f* the System. I probably would anyway, but just sayin' it's not like tSBFitW is hurting.

Actually, they are. We need new instruments badly and other stuff to support our growth, and a new BA! can run over five grand. I'm kinda scared.

You don't need to be any age group in particular to know someone cannot think in a logical manner when doing updates.

Beautiful rallying point. Have all you old geezers pledge dough for them to not cave in. There must be enough alum support to match that cash....

GOOD MORNING EVERYONE!! wobbly wednesday
