Lil has hit the intertubes and gone over to the dahk side. He is busily friending everyone on his new FB acct (except most adults, ******** cousin and the nephew's wife who is a female version of the same) and Mr is now the only one in the house without one. He remains convinced that it is the spawn of the devil. :rolleyes: I finally said get a page because the church group kept messaging my FB to get in touch with him. Enough is enough!

actually, I agree with him... what ever happened to contacting somebody by e-mail or phone?

Evening, Lodge. Laid an egg on both my knife skills and fabrication finals today, which means I get to take the course over again. At least tomorrow and Wednesday, I can salvage my dignity by doing well in the production and sauce finals.

And o/u for hours this week at work: 50. FMJ. I love it, but jeez, when you see a situation coming up like this week, and you knew about it more than a month in advance, why don't you fix it? Due to certain people off and/or switching from FT to PT, and one guy's (he is working this week) wife's baby is due any day now, and all these people are the only ones besides me that know a couple key jobs (which are in two different buildings), we're *ed this week. Mondays are usually are SLOWEST days, and I put in 10 hours.

TK's, I will be visiting YOU on Saturday night. You better have enough booze.

huh :confused:

I suppose its more just me... so many live on facebook as their life portal and think nothing of anything else... I mean, christ, these are the people who have familiarity with UHF and the rotary phone.

Of course, as I tell my 67 year old boss, I'm the world's youngest luddite when it comes to some of this stuff. Most of its just unnecessary. Adopt what's useful to you but if you do everything you just get overwhelmed... life goes on and you realize you don't need most of this stuff. Of course, you know me, I've never fully connected with the social world. It just seems silly that we have to be connected to a singular portal to stay connected to the world... but I suppose for most the point of life is the social web as opposed to the things you do.

Brent, Saturday night is Sunny Sweeney and Lost Highway. Not a ticketed show, but its $10 cover, and you'll have to be there early to get in. I'm planning on being there by 7:00. FYI.

You can do it on some forums, not on others. I have the option in the women's and alum forums.

Gee, darn, shucks. Guess I'll just HAVE to eat some of their delicious food for dinner. I'm so sad now. I think I'll drink my tears when I fall asleep tonight.

I don't know if I'll be able to pregame, I think I'm going to be getting work done in the yard again this week, and I'll probably get down there right at about 7:00.

Morning!

Rainy start to what will be a hot day. Is it Friday yet?

Maybe I will take pictures of all the fair food I eat just to make the out-of-staters jealous! :D
