Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 137: Counting the long summer days

I don't know if I'll be able to pregame, I think I'm going to be getting work done in the yard again this week, and I'll probably get down there right at about 7:00.

That's fine. Either way, I am gonna plan on eating dinner there.

Morning!

Rainy start to what will be a hot day. Is it Friday yet?

Maybe I will take pictures of all the fair food I eat just to make the out-of-staters jealous! :D

Our fair starts Thursday. Will a bacon cheeseburger with a bun made out of a glazed doughnut make you jealous? ;)

That's it. Fetch me the bucket o' kittens and tDitty. This rain needs to stop.

5.8 earthquake in Central Virginia... no internet or electricity loss... certainly some shocked nerves though

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 137: Counting the long summer days

are you DC folks safe? I heard a 6.0. Capital and Pentagon evacuated? JFK closed?

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 137: Counting the long summer days

That wasn't an earthquake, according to the local radio station. Bryant McKinnie just arrived in Baltimore for a tryout, you felt him step off the plane.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 137: Counting the long summer days

I didn't feel anything up here in NNY, but had some friends in the area who felt something.

Rumors abound that the NHLPA office in Toronto felt it, and as far west as Indianapolis. Yikes. Unfortunately it didn't break Long Island off from NY and make it float away to Somalia.

5.8? In Alaska, that means we roll over and go back to sleep.

/the one thing that scares the hell out of me about living here
//when plate tectonics says the party's over, it's over

There is plenty more than Long Island that could break off over there and float to Somalia and I wouldn't care.

You guys realize Somalia is on the opposite side of the african continent right?
