Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 137: Counting the long summer days

Spent a few hours at the Roulette table last night.. ended up losing about 3 bills after being up a couple bills (excluding my start amount of $60). Got wreckless at the end and could have walked out with $240 (thus only losing 80 or so) but proceeded to lose that in about 4 spins. Ah well, I'm still up for the year.

And in knowing we have some civil engineers in here, I give you this (maybe you've already seen it, but it is still good.)

I need to go on business trips with the sales guys more often. Damm that was a meal. Our appetizers were $100 in sushi, I am usually not a fan of sushi, but since the other guys were buying I thought I would partake. Wow, it was awesome good stuff. For the entree I had surf and turf, swordfish and filet, hibachi grilled at your table style. So stuffed. Can't move.

BTW, given the week so far, I may NEED to go to TK's on Friday. Our power equipment has batteries that need to have water fed into them (I guess it's like putting oil in your car or something). I get done doing that, and see that there is a cap-like thing attached to the waterhose. I figure it's to cap the hose. So I cap it.

Nope. It turns the hose into a power-sprayer, so water came busting out like a mofo. Took about 10-15 seconds to react/remedy the situation. Water. Everywhere. Also spilled two pallets due to faulty stacking by our night crew. Since each day this week has gotten worse due to crap like that, I just can't wait to see what the next two days bring.

And sidenote: cc to MNS: WPoS said he wants his dollar winnings delivered via you after you go out with That Other Sioux Fan. ;)

MNS, I don't think I'll need a ride from the airport. I have to drop some equipment off at my truck, so I'm going to take a cab to work and drive from there to the bar. Also, its a ticketed show so we'll have to pre-purchase tickets if we end up going.

Ok, how many tickets do we need? I can swing over after work and get them....

Good morning Lodge.

Just booked a flight to San Diego. Going to watch the queens start the season on their quest to add another Lombardi trophy to the case.

'Morning, kids.

The weather can stay just like it has been for the last few days until mid September and I would have no complaints. Sunny skies, not too warm in the mornings and pleasantly warm in the afternoons... perfect! :)
