Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 137: Counting the long summer days

From what I've heard, I'll be the closest (maybe MNS) to where they are looking to live...

Ahem.

Congrats to LwB!

Evening Lodge. Just back from Breezy Point. Kid finished his Doug Woog hockey camp yesterday and we stayed overnight nearby. Kid did OK for being a B2 among a bunch of B1 and A players. Kid and I tried to fish this AM but got chased off the lake by t-storms. Stopped and fished on the way back and the kid caught a really nice smallmouth and a couple good size carp from the Mississippi, all thrown back. Tired now, early night I think...

Eh, long day at work. Worked the chair at the Dixboro fair this morning. Really glad I worked out a deal with my coworker to borrow her shower while I killed the two hours in between working the chair, and then being in the studio working. Did clean up on tips today, just that I got stuck with a whole lotta ones today thanks to the chair.

Boston beats the Yankees to move into a tie for first place. It's a good night.

Spent the evening with my brothers. Went out for Chinese food, then ice cream, then back to the house to watch The Hangover. But my sister-in-law couldn't find the DVD. So we watched Trading Places instead. Funny, funny movie.

I got Rick Rolled at a restaurant yesterday.

Today I got soaked by a bunch of 6 year olds. It was my nephew's birthday party, it was at a park, there were water balloons, buckets of water, and all the kids got super-soakers to play with and take home. Somehow at the end all the 6 year olds ganged up on Uncle Hammer and I think they tried to drown me. The party ended at 1:30 and my shorts are still somewhat wet.

Just off County 71 and north of 46, right?

North of 42 would be more accurate, just where Highways 52 and 55 come together. Cty Rd 71 is more of the backside to the place, in order to get into the place you'd have to drive around to the front. I only know because my dad maintained the supercomputers that ran the place back in the 80's and into the early 90's.

To be fair, 42 and 46 are not exactly far apart. :p

Welp, I've officially lost my marbles. I own a pinball machine.

That's how I roll. I have achieved the goal of drinking for free at a bar on a Saturday night. With free drinks from a solid 10 of a bartender. 7 hours worth of free drinking

I chickened out of my bike ride after 55 miles. It will probably turn out to be a nice day. after all.

I see what you did there, good job :)

;)

Happy Sunday Lodge. Was supposed to head to Jenna's for hanging by the pool and a cookout. Looks like we're hanging out inside as it appears it will be rainy all day. Need to go food shopping in a few minutes. I don't want to get up off the couch.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 137: Counting the long summer days

S'upp y'all

Interesting morning so far.... Stopped last night in king of Prussia, PA because
A) I want to stay in a place that has three words.
And
2) we are across from some big arsed mall and I can take girl shopping as her birthday was Friday.

So I am downstairs at the free breakfast now with the two older boys looking at these two young russian girls in what can only be described as "older princess costumes" ( I am assuming there was a wedding last night). There is a table with three older Russian women too. All of a sudden the elevator opens and in walks an older Russian man in a pinstriped suit.... Nothing else. Pants and jacket. He grabs the box of parliaments off one of the older broads and heads outside.

Today is shaping up nicely.
