Just passed a house with the whole side covered with deer antlers, and the guy had a .50 cal mounted on an old (real old) jeep. Only in 'Bama. 'Merica.

It was 101 when I was driving home at 5:30. I think I read that we got to 102 today. It's the first time in the 5 years that I've owned my truck that I've second-guessed myself on buying a vehicle with black interior. It's still 95 right now, just past 7:30.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 137: Counting the long summer days

Work has been crazy hectic this week. I spent the entire day processing data and presenting it to co workers from trip earlier this week. Still have a bunch to do on this problem but I'm making progress, and I think I'm making a good impression on some important people in the company. (This issue is being followed closely by the head of engineering for the company = high stress)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 137: Counting the long summer days

I should panhandle for money and tell people it's for my charity that kills all the needy people. That way, when my charitable organization's goal is met, nobody will need to ask for money to help the needy in the future.

Hell, it was so hot today that I let a trucker use the bathroom at the meijers gas station in Charlotte before me just so I could continue to stay in the AC longer. Had to stop to put on sunblock on my arms just to keep them from burning up in the car on my way back from GVSU today. And I've made ice cream two of my meals today.

I'm ready for winter and minus zero weather now!!
