Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 137: Counting the long summer days

Zumba'd tonight. Holy hell. That was fantastic.
A former coworker has lost more than 40 lbs in the past couple months doing it.
I'm just hoping to get the last 15 off.

I'm thinking of starting classes. I just don't see how you can lose that much weight doing it.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 137: Counting the long summer days

People usually just call me by my name. You could always ask the staff if she has a preference. And Brent- that was classic.

That's what I was thinking, but it just seemed a little personal for a woman I try to avoid seeing.

I moved everything out of the kitchen so that the cabinets and countertop can be replaced. Good grief, I didn't realize I had that much ****. If I ever mention moving, someone smack me with a skillet.

You just found a skillet, didn't you?

Actually, I put them away first. If I get up in the morning and want eggs, I'm screwed.

Like you need to *ing lose weight. You're as tiny as 'diva. I could probably toss you around like I toss stuff around at work. :p

well, what do you normally call someone who is about to see you neked!?! :D
Well, most people just call me Matt when they're on my table. ;)

You mean like a hay bale??

Oy!! Been a little crazy at work. I covered a shift tuesday morning, and then for my usual wednesday morning, I go in and get a whole lot of no clients. But talked to the boss there and she was wanting to know how interested I would be in working another shift on Mondays as well as to what I currently have, Wed. morning, friday and saturday afternoons. So I believe that starts next month. Then yesterday evening I got a call from work saying that one of my coworkers was in a car accident, and kind of dinged up his shoulder. It didn't sound that bad, but I guess he wanted to rest it, so they called me to see if I would fill in for him today. Busy day with four clients. Just that the last one was bit of a downer as the lady was one of his regulars, and is really finicky about her massage. Its always bit of a downer to not always make your client happy. Anyways, go in early tomorrow for a meeting, where some schedule changes are likely to take place, and another go round saturday as well.

Mornin' all!

Just got done with Harry Potter 7.2, and gotta say I actually liked it. Lot of the guys I was with weren't that big on it. Who knows, I've never been the biggest fan.:p

I used to be as tiny as 'diva. Those were the days. You hit a certain age and it's like your metabolism shuts off. I don't need to lose 40 lbs, but I'd like to start with 10 and increase my flexibility and strength. I took an abs and arms class on Tuesday night and I was embarrassed at what I could not do. I've been walking every morning and paying attention to what I eat and nothing is happening. *sigh*

So, we were out of the office all day yesterday at our outing, which was on one of the Boston Harbor islands. It was great. A perfect day, weather-wise. Just hung out and enjoyed the day. Lobsters and BBQ chicken for lunch with hot fudge sundaes for dessert. Had to go back to the office to do a few things and bring my laptop home. I'm off today but will probably wind up spending almost all of it working. I have to call an internal client who was looking for a logo design. He didn't give me the approval of the estimate till the afternoon of July 1st. I was out most of the next week, my senior designer was out the rest of it and on Monday so the earliest we could have talked was Tuesday. He seems to think it's already done. I have to call him this morning. On my day off. He never told me he needed it by such and such a date. I gave him the estimate in April. They sat on it for ever and now apparently it's my problem.

I think I might see a part of the problem here... ;) Sure you watch what you eat, we all look at that food as it goes in and then as it stays on our bellies and ***es. When I was young I could NOT gain weight when I tried. I hit about 26 and boom - belly.

So Scarlet, do you want me to prowl DT MSP looking for members of BSBoys and NKOTB? I'm sure they're in one of about four hotels in town.
