Nope. Her's is mid-August; Dishman's is Labor Day weekend.
I've got two more to attend after that, yet.

Morning Lodge.

Get to go to lunch at one of my former emplyers today. We're doing a Value Engineering (also known as cost cutting or sometimes Value Reduction) review of one of their projects. It's a building I worked on waaaaayyy back when I was a student at the UMN.

Good Morning Lodge

Only day of the year with no sports going on. Good day to finally get some more work done on my bathroom. MLB should push the All-Star break back a day so the day with no sports falls on Thursday, so then at least we have The Open Championship, even though it is a 6 hour time difference.

Nope. Thirty-five years ago when I was a student I asked an uncomfortable question that I thought could explain why the building in question could never cool with a full house. The department head had designed the system when he was a young engineer and no one else wanted to ask that question. They've ben trying to fix that building since. Now they are finally ready to go and the proposed new systems are unbelievably complex and way over budget. We need to trim them bakc without compromising performance.

bb- there is a soccer match on today. :p Even if you hate soccer, which I can understand, there are cute, fit chicks in tight shorts running around. Not up to the level of women's vollyball, but not bad.

Goldy, even cute girls in tight shorts isn't enough incentive for me endure watching that crap. It is the same concept as Transformers 2 was so bad that its not even worth watching just to see Megan Fox bounce around for a couple hours.


A colleague and I have been trying to troubleshoot some problems with a couple of our engines. They are about 500 miles apart and we are even further away than that. Trying to figure this BS out from 1000 miles away is **** near impossible. If we can't get it figured out today, I might be flying to Georgia as early as tonight. ugh.

Grrrr...... Here at balance til 4, and I've got nothing on the schedule. :mad: I can't even go watch the women's world cup semi-finals today, well, might be able to catch the second one I think.

And the last 4 reps I've gotten are from Ralph. Do something to amuse me people. :p
