All I can say is, thank God Tech still has the GLI (though at this point, it's mostly a courtesy from the B1G).

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 137: Counting the long summer days

I can't wait for the Mavs to finally finish in the top of the conference..ahead of BSU;) I'm still mad, but whatever. Once the dust settles, we're all gonna have to deal with it and make the best of what we've got.

But at least BSU will have the slickest arena in the conference and sccc might even get a couple participation banners out of the deal............"sccc 2015 CHA part deux conference runners up." :D

As long as St. Cloud doesn't win at all, I'll be okay.;) I'm hoping to get up there this winter actually.

We already have 2 banners in our arena. One for the 2001 WCHA Final Five Championship and One dedicated to the many disappointments/one success in the NCAA tourney. :p

The sad part is that St. John's has more banners up in our arena.

Drink time. Dam you all talking about Widow Maker. I had to run out and by a 6-pack today. *Note* I took the last 6-pack from the store. Otherwise, I would have bought more.

We had our Final Five Appearances banner for awhile..then someone realized how embarassing that was and took it down.

The sad/funny part might be that in a few years sccc might have to play St. Johns as a play in game just to make the CHA part deux Tombstone Final Five held at Ridder arena. ;)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 137: Counting the long summer days

Peeking my head in since its been a while. Spent the morning yesterday in court proving that the cop that pulled me over was an idiot. Wrote me a $120 ticket for turning right on a green arrow (he said it was red). Thing is, there's no way he saw the light or intersection I came through because of the trees. Hooray trig! (I was told there would be no math!) Went to lunch with a friend, tthen picked out Aparch's wedding band. Now I'm heading to Milwaukee (eww) to see Dropkick Murphys at Summerfest.
Not a bad couple days considering everything else going on.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 137: Counting the long summer days

hit maximum mental burnout today... headache, somewhat out of it... not fun.... was close to completion but my verifier came up with different values... not by much though... so now we have to figure out where it all went wrong... or rather what's wrong. Either case... can't run the rest of it... can't be done, without getting a match on this.

Almost there.... almost so very much day... i want to move on with the rest of my life... my project has other ideas....

Still a classic :D

On my third glass of beer, and Metallica is going full blast. Some frustration is being dealt with already.

First glass of Spotted Cow. Vented frustrations by blasting L7 on my commute home. Note to self: not many other drivers like the sound of L7's "Sh*list" at ear-piercing db levels. :D (also listened to: "Shirley," "Wargasm," and "The Bomb").

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 137: Counting the long summer days

Thank goodness it is Friday night!! This week was, um, a serious wake up from last week's vacation. I think I saw every emotional or medical crisis in only 2 1/2 days of work  shi te. I saw stuff today (2ce) I have seen only one other time in my career. Yipes.

It's pretty awesome how well "The Thing That Should Not Be" fits within the context of this whole situation.
