no air conditioning... but i am watching Band of Brothers... Bastogne... maybe the sight of snow will help me cool down?

Multiple Crown Royal Manhattans in a beer mug, on further review from the league office, were not such a good idea. :o They were delicious though. :D
You might be on to something there.

TK dragged me out to a friends birthday party today in the D. Goodtimes was had there. They had some salsa lessons there and me and her cut a little rug. Even picked the birthday girl up and tossed her around a bit. She's a bit on the smallish side. About to pop in a movie here at her house, might crash halfway thru it.

I'm still on superhappyfuntime. :o

I think I'll sleep until the Wild stop making personnel moves. At least, I hope that I do. Otherwise, I hope that I sleep so soundly that a Vancouver riot wouldn't wake me.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 137: Counting the long summer days

bbdl and I tallied the hours we slept from Thu night through last night:

bbdl: about 12 hours total
me: about 15-16 hours total

Yes, I mean total. Now think about that, given we closed down the bars every night, the driving, the wedding/reception, in bbdl's case some golfing, etc. We. Are. Pros. :)

Almost forgot: apparently, many of the wedding guests thought I was going to pass out during the ceremony, due to heat/etc. :o I have to admit, it was rather tough, but I figured if the groom could make it with all his wool clothing (and more layers), I could. ;)
Sounds like a great weekend :D

Getting a good amount of sleep last night made my body very happy.

Agreed a 100%

Morning Lodge, Happy Fourth!

So she put you on the couch Monster?:p

Nice day on the St. Croix yesterday. A little burn on my legs where I missed the sunscreen or it washed off while wading.

Need to get junior moving to get the yard mowed for sitting and watching the fireworks tonight. Next door neighbor got a new kayak yesterday and then left for camping, leaving it behind since he couldn't figure out how to carry it on his truck. He gave me permission to break it in out on the pond today, should be fun.:D

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 137: Counting the long summer days

Back from bike riding, I didn't go where I wanted to go because there were more trees down from yesterday's thunderstorms than there are in all of North Dakota. ;)

Happy 4th. Out to the river to spend time with the family. Starting my roadtrip tomorrow, only thing for sure right now is meandering my way to Yankee Stadium Thursday and Friday, then possibly up to Maine for the weekend, who knows... gotta love "wing-it" roadtrips.

Is there any other kind of roadtrip? ;)
