Here, too! It's supposed to be 85. Pool is still open. I may have to take advantage. How are the hands???? Did you see any kind of medical professional at all?? Like, even a pharmacist? I really think you should.

I love a beautiful sunny Sunday after a win! Sorry - not gloating to anyone who is at a * hockey table this morning, honest. It's just that last season ended on such a down note for me and it's been more than 6 months with no hockey that I really want to enjoy this today. Not sure if it will last. :) Got a message from Puck Swami that he's headed to Boston next weekend for Denver's trip here. I invited him to use my extra ticket and treat him in the Club Room for dinner. Looking forward to that. I am going to miss BU's Friday game as I am heading to Chicago for business on Tuesday afternoon and not flying back till Friday night. The Blackhawks have a home game on Thursday, playing the Jets. I'm thinking about trying to get a ticket.

Tell Swami to start posting again!! It'd be nice to have a rational DU poster again.

Just found out that a company (there are 2 different ones) finally came out with the first version of the computer upgrade for my car. The other company (who I would prefer to go with) has limited time to come out with the ECU flash before I buy brand X. Christmas in October is a beautiful thing. Also looking at getting a cold air intake, and maybe some other turbo-applicable parts for my Tiguan so as to make it into Beastiguan. It's currently at 200 hp/207 ft-lb torque, I'm hoping to get it up around 270 hp and whatever I can get for torque.

Good morning, Lodge.

I'm sore as ever this morning, but I earned it! And the medal from Chicago is the best looking one I own!

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 137: Counting the long summer days

I just got word from home. My grandfather, who was looking better as of Wednesday night, took a massive turn for the worse overnight last night. They're taking him off breathing assistance, and it's just a matter of time now. The world has no idea the incredible man it is about to lose, and I am not ready to say goodbye.

Get that video on the internets. Stat.

And, thanks everyone. Right now we're just playing the waiting game. As much as I'd like to be there, I'm not going home until I get the news, so now I'm just keeping the phone close and getting all the ducks in a row.

Good Morning, Lodge!

Coffee is on!
yay coffee!

Well done.
And as for the middle finger, well, yeah, I'd say that's what he's doing. According to my father, when Grandpa is awake he's alternating between religious chants and cussing out everyone within a 50 foot radius. He's also starting to refuse medication. But, medically, hanging in there still.

Hi.

Prayers for your gramps, 'diva!

I might just believe in miracles.
Grandpa has done a complete 180 from Friday night. He's stabilized, his vitals are normal, and while he'll need to be on oxygen the rest of his life they're saying there's no reason why he shouldn't start getting up and around and they're going to start the rehabilitation process working toward getting him home by the end of the week or early next week. So, thank you all for your prayers and good vibes, clearly they worked! :)
