Nah. I jumped up, and tried to slap my hands on my jeans to snuff it out. Hmmm, maybe that can be the next ScyFy movie: Hands Of Fire.
More importantly you tipped over my bottle of everclear, which almost lit itself on fire, if I wouldn't have grabbed it right away.

Oh, gee, sorry. I was too busy extinguishing my hands.

I'm watching an osprey cruising our pond, hunting fish right now through the office window. Coyote was standing in the back yard about 9 this AM.

Another bantam tryout skate today then on to another drubbing of Sacred Heart by the Gophs. Avoiding the TV so I don't watch the drubbing Purdue is laying on the hapless FB team.

Pssh. That's nothing. I'm watching the vultures over Ross-Ade circling the carrion.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 137: Counting the long summer days

Depending on what constitutes a nap (for me, usually anything under 4 hours is a nap, I know, it's pretty lenient perameters), I could consider myself getting 2 naps a day while at work. Usually I sleep about 4-5 hours when I'm not on watch, although several times it is 3 hours or so.

And gmann, clearly the lynx should have the ttp since none of the other Minnesota franchises are going to be getting rings this season, I mean might as well use the parade money, right?

Has your luggage shown up yet?

Yaaaa, I have nothing for my incredible failure there. I can't even blame any drugs since I killed off my prescriptions last night.

My bags got delivered to my company office yesterday afternoon I guess, now to give USelessAirways a call tonight or tomorrow and find out what they're doing for reimbursement since it was over 24 hours getting the bags to me

Next thing you know Brent is gonna be joining Barnum and Baileys to blow fire out of his mouth. In all seriousness, hope you aren't too charred up. Although that is something I would expect out of ctf, not you Brent.

Has your luggage shown up yet?

I've got your back, Ralph.;)

Get that video on the internets. Stat.

And, thanks everyone. Right now we're just playing the waiting game. As much as I'd like to be there, I'm not going home until I get the news, so now I'm just keeping the phone close and getting all the ducks in a row.

Food coma. 1.5 medium pizzas for a late lunch. I better be hungry by the time MNS shows up here and we head to TK's and join bbdl and his friends; I kinda want some good comfort food for dinner.

Pizza and beer is basically my diet in college now and I need to figure it out or i'm gonna be huge.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 137: Counting the long summer days

Change to lite beer and veggie pizza, that'll do it!

Don't listen to him. He's old and decrepit. Lite beer....pshaw! And no meat on pizza?! Blasphemy.

Switch to noodles and liquor. The cost evens out, and it's not fattening. :D

Mine too. I remember there was a seven-day period where I had pizza for 10 meals.

And another where I went to Dominos and got the largest pizza they had (I was really hungry). It turns out it was Two-for-Tuesday. So I brought home two of their largest pizzas. I started on one and before I even realized what happened, I had managed to eat both pizzas. In about an hour.

There are as many as 100 calories in a shot of liquor. Not much better than lite "beer". :p

And seriously, pizza's good, but I never lived on it at Tech.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 137: Counting the long summer days

Have any of you guys even seen the difference between regular and light beers? It's something like 40-50 calories. That's less than half a slice of bread or glass of milk.
