I think Ralph's last 2 posts are enough evidence for us to conclusively proclaim that bacon, does in fact, prevent all cavities from forming.

Don't tell verizon, but the problem may have been that the DSL disconnected. Either that or it fell through the cable hole in nmy desk while I was installing the new modem. I am not going to use the old modem again anyway.

Apparently 1970's style 11 horse Briggs and Stratton's don't handle the 95 degree heat very well. 95% sure I melted a hole in the piston mowing the lawn this afternoon. I'll have about a week to rebuild it. ****ty.

Question for all you civil engineers out there, just saw a pic on facebook that said the lanes were closed due to pavement failure, how the hell do you have pavement failure, its all fricken statics?

Thermal expansion of the road surface resulting in buckling of the pavement.

Ya but when you design the road wouldnt you account for the amount of thermal stresses, you have a pretty good idea of what range of temperatures you need to withstand?
