Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 135: Rain, rain go away

Morning!

Sprinkling rain this morning. Not happy that the forecasters lied about no rain this week.

How to make me feel old. I think I was in HS or college
If it makes you feel better. Ralph was already retired when that album came out. ;)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 135: Rain, rain go away

Good Morning Lodge
Had she not been aneroxic the show would've sucked. It was the first, and last, time I've watched the show, but it's very weird seeing your school, things you do, people you know, see, talk to, etc on TV. Her mom was the biggest ***** in the world. Made the boyfriend pay rent when he was working part time to care for the kid who was trying to work to pay for the kid and care for the kid so she could get enough school done to graduate with us.
I switched to it after the Twins game, because I was curious. I agree on the mom thing, except it isn't that she charged them rent or made them care for the baby on their own, she was a complete ***** because she told them that she'd take off work to help for the first week and she told them that he could stay rent free as long as he took care of baby momma and baby, which turned out to be complete lies. Not to mention she asked her anorexic daughter to go on a diet with her. I turned it off at that point, it was too much pure stupidity for me to handle.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 135: Rain, rain go away

it's just going to be weird seeing a girl i've been in class with be on national tv.:p a pregnant teen with aneroxia.

edit: Ralph may have scored?

Ugh, really? That's just sad.

Lesson is: wear a rubber. Or be ready for the consequences. It's not that difficult.

This.

'Morning, kids. 3 days out from race day, and I'm starting to feel the nerves.

Morning Lodge.

Forgot to mention yesterday that late in the day I was told that I need to move to another workstation today. My last day is Friday. Morans.

I sent an e-mail to the CEO and copied the IT guy and the woman who passed the info on to me that I will move today if needed - to my car and out the ****ing door and he can handle any unfinished business. Including the promises he made to clients on my behalf yesterday. I'm not moving today then leaving on Friday. How ****ing stupid.:mad:

Fight the power! *raises fist*

Seriously, that's really idiotic.

Good morning Lodge. This Dunkin' Donuts has free wifi! Had to run to CVS this morning to get some aloe. Sunburn hurts!!!! Gonna head back to the house to shower and pack before meeting my aunt for lunch. Then to the airport to fly home.

Morning. Awesome past couple days on my roadtrip to CT/school. Officially together with the girl now, so I'm really happy about that :) Picked up my USCG license yesterday from school and then saw some friends from high school last night. New car is great to drive in (comfortable, nice riding car, etc), and I got decent gas mileage in it (24 or so highway... I'm expecting it will bump up to 26 or so with some time)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 135: Rain, rain go away

I just want to repeat the point that no one cares about lacrosse or Denver playing that ****ty sport.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 135: Rain, rain go away

Dang.:(

They decided I don't have to move today. I was looking forward to a couple more days off.

I picked up some Dunkin' Donuts coffee at the store the other day, and I can see what all the fuss is about. This stuff is good, I can only imagine what it's like fresh at one of their stores. :)

I've been feeling too pure lately. I need to step up my Lodge game.

Hey, The Ralph has needs!

Unless that's just the first course.

TPIWWP

Ah! Now I feel a little more Lodgish.

PS: Go 'diva!
PPS: What's the race again?

Half-Marathon. 13.1 miles. I'm hoping to break 1:50:00, and if I hit 1:45:00 I will be thrilled.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 135: Rain, rain go away

Gaggggg!!! I would rather just have a salad with lots of good toppings and no dressing.
Either that or lightly tossed with some olive oil and vinegar.

Customers are morons.
:D
Truth.

You'll do fine. One of the things I tell myself is that "everything you can do has been done. Nothing left to do but line up and run."

Good morning, Lodge. I learned Muskegon is getting a Tim Horton's; from what I've heard, they're better than Dunkin' Donuts. Truth?

So, what is the deal with DD coffee? Crack laced? I remember ~30+ years ago when I lived in PA that my now SIL talked about how she HAD to stop for her DD coffee every morning. i don't drink coffee so never tried it. Tried to doughnuts though - they were OK, nothing special.
