How did Scarlet hack your account? :D

breakfast martinis?

Slowly building up the motivation to do chores... but like most weekend days, unless I have something going on I really have no motivation.

50 mile ride complete. Apparently there was some massive diabetes ride in Minneapolis that I didn't know about. A ****load of people just randomly appeared on the bike path at one point, so I rode with them for about 15 miles. They were all on road bikes, and I stupidly kept pace with them on a mt bike. My legs now really hate me.

i have no idea. maren drove my truck somewhere now i have to find it. i think i have a ride now. she drove a stick like a pro. this girl might just be perfect

Sounds like a typical night out.

I feel like a bag of dicks. Crashed out around 1am last night (pretty standard), but woke up at about 12:30. That never happens.

I either slept too much, or still need more sleep, but either way, I ain't doing nothing until I feel better.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 135: Rain, rain go away

So the Massachusetts Department of Transportation is starting this massive bridge replacement project on I93 right through the city where I live. They're rapid replacing 14 bridges over weekends in the summer. Check out the site for more info - especially you engineering folks. The video was pretty cool. I hope it works. Problem is, I live right off 93 and traffic is ridiculous with the lane and exit closings and the re-routed traffic. It is difficult to get out of the street where I live. I may be forced to stay in on weekends. Normally it wouldn't be an issue because there's a pool here, but they haven't figured out why the water is still all cloudy. The pool is dirty as well. Why there is no one here today, or during the week when it was nice out, is beyond me. There will be a call to the condo association on Monday.

Afternoon Lodge.

Kids are in a soccer tournament this weekend. Won first game on a field called "The Pit," seriously, the official name is"The Deephaven Pit." Won 5-0 and jr. got his first goal of the season - off his face. Tried for a header but the crossing pass was real low and he got it off the side of his face instead of top of his head. Should have a good shot to win their pool, they play a team tonight they've already beaten easily. Only unknown is the team they play tomorrow morning as I can find nothing about them.

Gorgeous weather and jr and I went fishing in Carson's Bay of Minnetonka after his game. No bites but it was nice to be out and fishing anyway.

I guess I needed more sleep. About 2 more hours did the trick. I guess my long work week really did a number on me. :(

Georgeous day in cake-eater country. A bunch of us are supposed to go out for MNS' b-day, and all I can say is there better be a patio at whatever bar(s) we end up at. It's too nice to be inside.

envious... plenty of patio (rooftop) places around here but I'm not heading out on my own... and well, Game 2

edit: what's the temperature out there?

Yesterday it hit 91 and was humid as all hell. Today it's 84, very low humidity/dew point, and sunny. Supposed to get down all the way to about 60 tonight. :D

It's 92 here today. It was a bit warm early this afternoon when I took care of the yardwork.

Oh, and there's a helluva storm cell just south of Gary, IN. If it heads this way, it should hit sometime right before bed tonight.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 135: Rain, rain go away

Holy crap, it hit 80 in Duluth. FM and I just got back from wandering around in Canal Park and enjoying what might just be our one day of summer.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 135: Rain, rain go away

Only reached 75 here, which made it a good day for a late morning run. And for some reason, I ended up taking two naps today...

Hope it misses us. I would just like to get the hay done as soon as possible. 3 more wagons to do tonite. I doubt I'll move out of bed before noon tomorrow.
