Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 134: Huh?

They keep sending me texts. Both of them. I have probably used 200 texts since 9. I have to make sure I send the right texts to the right one. This will take a little getting used to.

Well, it is at the point now where I'm just at the dating stage with both. If anything gets to be exclusive I have to make decisions. I want to get to know them both better first, to hopefully make the right choice. Its like the NFL combine and I have the #1 pick.
Been there, done that. It's more fun that way, isn't it? Just wait til it's up to 3 or 4, and the draft class does get deeper.;)
I think I'm going to miss my company iphone.:(
no chance of a new iPhone at the new firm?

Mornin' All. Took the AP Calculus test yesterday, it actually wasn't as bad as I thought, although it was pretty difficult. I had such a long day yesterday. Went straight from testing, to the golf course for our biggest conference meet of the year, which we lost by 2 ****ing strokes. Then had softball last night immediately after that, thankfully we won. Brent, we had a 20-4 lead and then gave up 11 runs in the fourth inning with like 7 errors.

So ready for this weekend. I want to have a nice bonfire and start to enjoy the improving Minnesota weather. Rumor has it we might hit 70 by next week!

I can't sleep anymore either. I rarely fall asleep before 12, and i wake up at 5:30 and fall in and out of sleep until I hit the shower. It's like I'm Ralph or something  ;)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 134: Huh?

I liked my BB when I had it, but since I've switched to Android, I don't think I could go back to BB. Android has been awesome for me so far, it is so nice to not have to do a battery pull once a day.

Recently I have had trouble with my "alt" button sticking, and the pull does nothing, so I've concluded the actually button underneath the pad sticks?

I want to get Sprint's Evo;I think that's part of the android stuff?

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 134: Huh?

Good Morning, Lodge!

I feel like I am being pulled from every direction. I am so sick of people not doing their job and I have to do their job and I cannot get my stuff done. Fine, I won't do my own job and just hold up production. [/rant]

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 134: Huh?

Greetings Lodge. Sitting at the gate, waiting to board my flight to Toronto for the first leg of my trip home. Got here really early so I'm really tired now. Hoping to sleep but I see a baby. I hope it's not sitting near me.

I had the Storm, so no buttons, but it had plenty of other issues. I think the Evo is android. For the most part, if it isn't BB or iphone, it is Android. I suppose there are others out there, but Android is a good bet.

I'm just waiting for the contract to finish up, and I'll take advantage of that. We may switch to verizon as well, so who knows. I am looking forward to getting the new phone, though.

Scarlet have a safe trip!:)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 134: Huh?

So that went surprisingly well. CEO wants me to stay involved with one project that I brought in. I'm sure my new place will be fine with that. I like it cause the facilities director there has been a friend of mine for about 8 years (I did their new hospital when I worked at a different firm, doing their new nursing home now).

Leaving early today for jr's track meet. In MNS's home town, but the public school, not the hoity-toity private school he went to.

Good luck to you, sir.

I finally had my review today. Basically, what they told me is this: I've rocked the probationary period, and they want to make sure I stick around. So they're immediately putting me in training to be an assistant manager, while giving me responsibilities and tasks related to my strengths and educational background. Among the duties involved:
-Fill-in product orders
-Scheduling
-Heading up all new employee training
-Creating and executing lessons for employees on in-store products
-Working with local high-school teams, setting up shoe fitting clinics, form clinics, etc
-Helping with community outreach and charitable work

That. Sounds. AWESOME. I'm pretty excited about this--it kinda feels and sounds more like a big kid job.

Congratulations!
