Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 134: Huh?

I burnt the tip of my thumb with a propane torch yesterday. Now it has turned a pale, dead, white color, and lost all feeling. Which I must admit, it much better than the seering pain that I felt yesterday.
Thats not good.... probably means that all the sensory neuron receptor axons have all died off from the damage. You're not going to feel anything in that tip of your thumb until they grow back, and it might take a while.

You're hanging out with Tom Kelly?

Ummm.... I'm not really familiar with any Tom Kelly, and after googling a list of Tom Kelly's, could you be a bit more specific as to which one you're talking about??

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 134: Huh?

Gorgeous day out. The Fifth (aka Rosie) went topless today. She was so happy. :)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 134: Huh?

Sucky day out here. And all week. What a miserable weather pattern. Can't wait to get to Florida. I have Sox tickets for tomorrow. Given my record, it will be an ugly loss. If it gets played at all. The weather looks awful.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 134: Huh?

Possibly rainy on Saturday(what else is new), but other than that, it's supposed to be nice all week here (sunny + gradual warming trend - 70s by mid-week, perhaps 80 by Sunday).

It's about ****ing time we got a nice stretch of weather like this.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 134: Huh?

It got crappy here Saturday night, rainy and cool. It should break by Wednesday night and we'll be at least in the 60's by the weekend.

Sounds like you and the east coast are getting what MN got this past week (6-7 days of Seattle weather).

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 134: Huh?

It was gorgeous up until Sunday morning. Like, mid-70s to low 80's. Then, boom, mid-50's and rain.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 134: Huh?

Actually, when intoxicated, you're aggressive towards skunks.

they're just better dressed cats anyhow....

one of my kickball teammates decided to have the gumption to chase the geese... now, chasing small animals is usually my job and geese are kinda mean... but ****ed if she didn't do it. I was impressed... heck, I was impressed that there is somebody in this town that would notice the animals... most people don't notice anything unless it was on their iphone checking into foursquare.

edit: of course before that I was taunting them saying "here pillow, pillow, pillow"...

I got another text "gunning for states (qualifying is 4:48). Might be a bit of a stretch as this will be race 3 in the last 6 days but hey- you never know.

I'd say qualifying for states as a freshman is good reason to run an all-out "gonna puke" type race.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 134: Huh?

Ran 5:03 in light rain and swirling winds. It was a miserable day. At least it wasn't pouring. 3 races in 6 days (5:02, 4:59, 5:03). Not bad seeing his fastest time before was 5:12. Running again on Thu. The coach screwed up and thought that meet was only for upperclassman. He has to run 4:48. Unlikey but I am not going to tell him that.

GOOD MORNING EVERYONE!! terrible, rainy tuesday. ugh.
