that was a big ripple... i came home from the course and turned on the tv and espn was showing a pool tourney from some casino.... ga young kim!!! (winner!) the tv talkers referred to her as "little devil".

of course i didn't change the channel (do you know how boring tv pool watching is.... or any pool watching. :p)

oh, and i awoke this morning to a phone call asking about the weather (never mind). the important part was it cause me to recall the dream i was having... brent and scarlet were with me outside a parking garage. we were waiting for scarlet to finish her cigarette before getting in the car.

i'm not sure where to go with this....

If it was a parking garage, it couldn't have been Brent. They use ramps in MN. :)

I can't remember if Scarlet smokes. But otherwise that's a good one. I haven't had any USCHO dreams lately. I think I can only remember 3 of them.

The only time I met Scarlet was outside Yost a few years ago, in the middle of a monsoon in between periods. Her and the giggly BU fan. She doesn't even remember. :(

I remember.

Currently sitting in the balcony of Lowell High School's auditorium. Nieces' dance recital. Some lane audience participation thing. I always hate this part. Ok, show's on.

Not only did I get out on a lake this weekend, I actually caught some fish.

First was a 20" northern. Not big enough, but it was the first thing I have been able to get into a boat this year. A buddy and I were using suckers, average length about 5-6 inches.

The next time the bobber took off I assumed it was another northern. Once I set the hook and it fought like absolute hell, I knew it wasn't. Ended up being a bass that was just as long as the northern. My guess is five pounds, four at the least. Too bad they aren't open. :(

Felt good to get a few in the boat though. I love fishing.

So I've got to send up a big thank you to God tonight. Just called my dad to check how his race at Blackhawk went tonight. He was hit by a guy from the rear corner, hit a rail, hit the corner worker stand, and rolled over, ending upside down back on the track with cars coming at him. Walked away scratch free, as did everyone else. Thank God for racing safety systems.

Opener was good down here, too. I took my limit of walleyes today, ranging from 16 inches to 27.:cool:

This evening I went to a debate between an atheiest and a christian. Man are those guys good at what they do. I found myself getting very upset with some of the things that were said. Particularly, "an egotistical monster" was a term used for God by the atheist.
