Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 134: Huh?

So one of our assistant coaches got poached by Princeton to replace their coach. Really happy for him as he is a great guy and deserves a head coach spot, but we'll miss him for sure.

Driving to Syracuse, NY tomorrow night to fly out early Wednesday to Houston to do the paperwork and physical for the new job. Whee! Then car shopping Saturday when I return. Exciting, exciting, exciting! And things with the girl are getting better too, I have a hunch this could become a serious/official relationship sooner than later. Life is pretty good right now :)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 134: Huh?

Well, I'm as ready as I'll ever be for the AP Government test tomorrow:) I'm feeling confident I'm gonna nail that one! 5 please?

Good luck. I aced the AP classes, and scored a 3 on the AP Test. It's tough. Don't get me wrong, worth the cost/chance, but still. Be ready to be humbled. Just sayin'.

Which AP classes did you take?

I did Stats and AP Lit/Comp. I know I got a 4 on one and a 5 on the other, and the credit for both. The only PITA about the entire thing was the sheer amount of writing for the Lit exam, and how much we were supposed to quote/reference the books we had read over the year without having said texts accessible.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 134: Huh?

Good Morning Lodge
Could be eastern (Menomonie, Eau Claire). Only reason I know that is a couple friends have that area code: one lives in Elk Mound (yes, where Carl Gerbschmidt supposedly lives), and one used to live in Menomonie.
Menomonie and Eau Claire are not eastern Wisconsin...They're less than an hour from MN.

Morning Lodge.

Supposed to be mostly sunny and 85 here and a rep is taking me out to lunch. I think I'll pick a spot with a deck...and come back sunburned. Thinking Stella's in Uptown.

ETA: Hmmm, VERY mixed reviews on the food and service at Stella's, might have to pick somewhere else with a deck and a view...

Go across the street to Cafeteria. I'd assume the roof is open for lunch, if not the main level also is open on to the street. If that doesn't work, on the other corner Cowboy Slim's has a deck as well and opens at 11 am.

I meant western.:o You have to drive east to get there. Long day yesterday (10 hour shift).

And diva: AP Biology, AP English, and AP History

Ahhhhh.

I took European History and Human Geography. I wish I would have taken US History.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 134: Huh?

Only AP test I took was calculus.

Severe storm risk this afternoon/evening... hail is the primary threat, though tornadoes cannot be ruled out.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 134: Huh?

I didn't want to waste my time on the other AP classes. :D
I was forced to...I was on the advanced track throughout high school, and I needed 4 years of different disciplines. By the time I got to be a senior, the AP classes were all that were left. AP Lit/Comp was the worst class I've ever taken, what a complete piece of BS that was. The only think it did for me was make me that much better of a BSer. I didn't read a single **** book, they were all terrible, and managed to get a B.
