Woke up to complete white out here. 6 inches or so of fresh snow. Beautiful out but its spring so I want flowers not more freakin snow

Only a few inches here but that is too much. More predicted for tom'w into Thu. Last week it hit 69 (wT!!!) and by the time I got out of work it was 40. I didn't even get lunch to stick my head out the door. I keep threatening to fly down to the Keys in the AM, hang out in the airport for a few hours on a park bench and fly home. (Don't have time to stay)

Don't apologize!! We (I can see from other posts that I'm not alone in this sentiment) LOVE hearing about lil G and all his successes. Makes me smile every time I read about a new accomplishment.

I hardly think you've created a pity party. I think this community, partially because it's so small, has come to care for lil G without having ever even met him.

Morning, Lodge. Another day. Have worked or been in class/interning (or both) for 16 days without a break. I'm very much looking forward to this weekend.

Mornin' everybody! While everybody is waking up to snow, it's loud crashing thunderstorms and heavy rain to start off the day...the Minnesota River here is getting dangerously high, it's kinda of scary..we'll see how this next week goes, but it sounds like lots of rain in the forecast for today.

Mankato itself is probably fine, but I wouldn't be so sure about the small towns along the MN River, they might be having some problems.

Job fair today at school, then another one up in CT tonight. Got an interview with Kirby Inland Marine tomorrow afternoon, we'll see what happens.

Mankato will be fine. Those walls are huge. 169 will be closed between Mankato and St. Peter though. St. Peter and Le Sueur will probably have issues.

The D1 side is being pretty lively today, wondering which thread out there is going to be the most fun. Think that Colorado State of Hockey has some potential.

Really bored at work right now. There's been only one client in today, and another 4 total for this evening. Thankfully, of them is my regulars. Actually goofing around on the office computer instead of my iPod.
