Good Morning Lodge!

That was a quick bike ride. It will be warmer tomorrow (actually this afternoon).

Back to snooze for a while.

A call from Frank Wilson yesterday was a bad omen. Won't he ever stop? Perhaps he'll get the MTU job. ;)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #131: Spring is here!

Good morning MEUSA, Ralph, Les and tLodge! Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Unless you are in Suffolk County or Somerville, MA, in which case, Happy Evacuation Day! Yes, 230+ years later they are still celebrating the fact that the British left Boston for Nova Scotia. Or at least that is what they claim. Personally I think it is just an excuse to take the day off from work for a Catholic holiday. ;)

For all of you heading to the F5 tonight, have fun!!

Is it ok to drink Canadian beer on an Irish holiday!

Speaking of rep, I now only "have much to be proud of". (A noob from my own fanbase! He's been acting the fool in other teams' threads, and say what you will about BU fans, generally we're good at not trolling up other threads. Now this guy's embarrassing us. So I said straight away, "Don't be a jerk in other people's threads, it's embarrassing." And he neg reps me. The ballz on this guy!)

I don't mind the occasional red square; I know it'll get balanced out soon enough. But this guy? ::scratches side of jaw with back of fingertips:: I'm not a fan of organized rep violence; but I do know some people who sometimes choose to visit those that would act uncivilized-like, to deliver signs of concern. I of course don't encourage such action.

:D

Very well written, I think you have a future in law or politics. :D

...and was unwise enough to wonder why I didn't know to have dinner ready. So mad I am speechless. He has been home since 3:30. grrr. Not the doghouse. A large kennel.
Wait, he's in more trouble and you are giving him more space? Or does the lack of a roof make it less desirable living conditions?

Thanks Mel. Anything close to the X and reasonably affordable?

You could always Priceline something.
We've got an place in Eagan for F4 for around $60 a night; one of those extended stay places. It should work out fairly well.
The Courtyard in Mendota Heights was nice in October, that was around the same price, then. Don't know about now.
I never really had to deal with hotels around the area before. I could always go home. :)

Forgetting to cook is always a good excuse to get a crate full of chinese food.
What's the point? You're just going to be hungry again in an hour...

It's okay to drink beer on any day ending in Y.

Good morning, Lodge. Time to get ready for my meeting with my new advisor, then coming home and making dinner.

I went back to sleep after my aborted bike ride and woke at 7:30. Now it is nice and warm, and I am sad, but I don't want to go riding now today because I wouldn't have time to do the whole ride and if I did a shorter one, I would be too worn out tomorrow. Oh, the problems of being retired!

I wonder if you're staying in the same place as tcbg. We had initially planned to stay in the same hotel as Brent, et al., but I can't go and the others going can't fill the room, so it's too expensive. They just booked a place in Eagan yesterday for about that cost.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #131: Spring is here!

At 2:30 in the morning?... in DC?...

Maybe you should get a job! :p

Actually, I left at 3 AM :D, rode a mile and turned around. This particular ride is entirely on bike trails except for the first 1.5 miles on lightly traveled rodes, so it can be ridden during the week easily.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #131: Spring is here!

Good morning.:) While others may be watching the start of the NCAA hoops' festival I'm going to try to get a peak at the WCHA games today.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #131: Spring is here!

What's that?

If I was the cynical type I might say something like, "It's what QU fans watch at this time of the college hockey season." But as you know, I'm not the cynical type. So I'll have to say I don't know what the NCAA hoops' festival is. And by the way Mark, there's still plenty of room on the Denver postseason hockey bandwagon. Hop on board.;)
